@@kokak0838 I mean, people give them both shade, I have seen it... but what these ignorants fail to realize is there are NOVELS surrounding these characters Spanning years and years with subplots and background stories... and the thing is that they are personifying the characters right off the pages in the novel.
Solo Siwarokit is literally like a Husky
Gui is a literal introvert, hard on expressing his innermost feelings.
Kao is a complete Extrovert and a hard pursuing character.
And Phu oh lord. He is socially withdrawn and awkward for the most noble of reasons. He is putting up a heavy shield not only around himself, diving deep into work. There is so much going on around the plot. The actors have read the novels they know the depts in background and motives of each character. We need to know them too. So I suggest to read the novels like I always do
This is not a show we can stare at blindly for visuals and cuteness. This show deals with a TON of subtext.
One being Phuri's nonchalant "stay away from me" actions. And Phu just nails it.
The scene where Kao is expecting a full body wash being the epic show of this. As Phu just "dabs away" like he's wiping coffee stains off a table...
That's NOT bad acting... that's literally how Phuri is, voluntarily nonchalant and dinstant...
People watching need to know there is a lot subtext to the characters, and to know that is why the actors do these things.
In my eyes, yes the series is different from the novel because 1. Ai'Khim, 2. P'Petch, 3. P'Perth 4. N'Khem ...
And that whole unecessary plot.
Now I love these actors playing K,K,P&P, but they could have been utilized so much better by playing additive roles to the main plot instead of creating a new plot all together.
That said. Mains are Phu, Nut, Petch and Boss. And they are nailing the characters.
Jedi is also a very subplotted character. He could have more limelight with his role. If they went in that direction with him, a season two might have been more plausible in terms of hinting to the Anakin novel. Not to mention our Moon.
Oh well.

The young actor playing Guitar has been a second stringer for a while. I am happy he has a chance to show case his talent. Solo holds his own. Quiet chemistry between the actors.
