Yes. Yoo Seon Ho (PD 101 S2) debuted as a soloist under Cube and was trained by Jinho!
he used to be vocal coach in modernk and he said he coaches other cube trainees too. Lien from Mirae is also his student

Just so you know..if you forgot.. Hongseok has lived in the US before when he was younger, that’s why he’s a fluent English speaker of Pentagon and usually is the translator for the group. But the other members like Kino and Jinho is also pretty good English speakers too. Hui tries hard and is improving with speaking English, but he still looks at Hongseok to see if he’s saying it right which is so cute tbh. But Hongseok is fluent in 3 languages.. English, Korean, and Chinese.. he’s really improved in speaking Japanese and he knows some Malay, Indonesian, and of course Mandarin/Chinese cuz he also lived in Singapore and China. He’s well educated and is indeed super intelligent, he was supposed to attend a very elite business/economic university in Beijing. But he decided to pursue his dreams of becoming a singer. 👍

Oooh another reaction yess I really love these thanks for reacting to them! Apart from Magazine Ho covers (my fav is probably Gethsemane that's a whole musical in one song), you should watch some Knnovation songs too, La Di Da is amazing. For an emotional breakdown I'd suggest The greatest wall (Hui and Kino) or Genius (written by Shinwon). Hong seasons are great too he just released an acoustic cover of IU's Celebrity, and my fav one is the duet with Hui. Any of their Mdromeda covers are chief's kiss, and as for variety shows to me the funniest video is probably their Mafia dance!

I also find his voice and covers so soothing, I listen to the Magazine Ho covers to fall asleep that’s how relaxing I find them 😂 I love all of pentagon so much, I can’t wait to see you get to learn all of them, their talents and their lovely personalities and little quirks! Also little fact if you didn’t know before Hongseok lived in America for quite a number of years (in Wisconsin and LA is I remember correctly) so he is fluent in English! Jinho is another very fluent member, but honestly we’re at a loss at how he got so good 😂

Also, please please please (if you're interested), I would die to see you react to some of Yuto's music. It's so good, but criminally underrated outside Universe. I recommend Kuro and You are the Main Character, which have lyric videos on yt. I don't think I've ever seen anyone react to Yuto's music, and I would love you forever if you were the first!!!

Jinho was originally a longtime SM trainee. He was impressive enough as a trainee that he was part of SM the Ballad, a 2010 project group with Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Shinee’s Jonghyun and TRAX’s Jay. He went by Jino at the time. He probably would have debuted with EXO but it didn’t work out. He left SM and was a vocal trainer for awhile. A Cube rep convinced him to try being a trainee again and be a part of Cube’s new boy group that would debut in 2016 and that was Pentagon. He still was a vocal trainer for some Cube trainees after his debut and up until his enlistment.
he said he was never meant to be in exo. he was preparing to debut in another group after smtb promo but it didn't work

jinho was a trainee for more than 8 years, sm ent wasted his talent completely, he also worked at cube as a vocal coach! so his vocal range is so damn huge, when he raps he goes so low???? but the high HIGH notes he can hit like howw is he real
no no if sm wasted his talent completely, he wouldn't have been in sm the ballad (a project literally made to flex sm's vocals, the other members were well-respected seniors, and their songs are difficult to sing too). It was a big deal to include 2 years long trainee in a project that ambitious. I'm no shooter for kpop companies but based on what jinho said so far, i think him not debuting permanently there has more to do with sm and him not agreeing on thing(s). And as a fan of Jinho (I stan an SM singer too lol), I really can't see better place for him other than Pentagon, he got to sing as much as he wants and his groupmates seem nice too.
@@pureundal6287 i mean, i get what you said but i’m just so ?? how they kept him for so many years with no solid project to put him on at all, until he decided to leave on his own because they had nothing for him? i’m still thankful cube debuted him in pentagon despite of his age, other companies would’ve found him too old to debut but they didn’t... and i agree pentagon is the perfect team for him, their family bond is impeccable and they have so much respect for their tiny hyung
hongseok might not be as good at english as jinho(who learnt it through english movies and he is a biiiiiiig potterhead lol), but he is comfortable with it. he stayed overseas for so long and so he can speak english(with a lil bit of lisp) and yes he is a biiiiiiiiiiiiiig iron man fan, there was once when he about killed edawn(lol kidding) when he accidentally dropped him iron man toy!lol
i am a big hong fan (and ofcourse i love all of pentagon) so sorry about me ranting about him! his lame lame lame dad jokes which sound stupid even when translated makes me often forget how smart he is! he never displays it that much but pentagon maker made me wonder what his iq is! he and shinwan are the comedic duo. also wooseok becomes funny in hongseok's presence(2seok!). and then there is yeo one adorably trying to be funny!
Hi! Can you also react to SB19? They are also from the Philippines. They just uploaded their latest MV entitled WHAT❓ last March. the leader wrote, compose and co-produce the song. the youngest is the creative director and the Main Vocalist choreographed the song too :)
Fun fact: according to a friend of the production they have limited budget for this MV. The production is All Filipino. The scene on desert is actually Lahar , volcanic mudflow and not sand. All of it was shot Here in the Philippines.
