I have used so many channel strips - and you easily get lulled into thinking you need one of the "analog emulations" or "console emulations", but somehow I could never get used to them. UltraChannel is a GAME changer - it has such a range of sonic possibilities, and each of the modules is world class. I really love it and wanted to thank you for putting it together!
This is a good channel strip, the available delays set it apart from the others. But I haven't touched it since I got the Omni Channel, which is the best value I've ever seen on a plugin.
This is a really great channel effect. I like it much better than a lot of similar products. I really like the micro pitch shift and delay tacked on. These are effects I am often adding to tracks anyway and the additional features such as the selectable delay path really open that up. Being able to re-order the various components is the feature that moved this ahead of the pack though. I've got a bunch of SSL and UAD plugins that don't do that. And now that I'm used to it I really wish they did! I do have one complaint though. I keep most of my audio at nominal -14dBfs. In Ultrachannel (and E-Channel) this shows up a lot lower? Like it's knocking off 10dB on the way in. Not sure if this is a trick of metering ballistics or gain structure. Nevertheless I end up having to add 8-10dB just to get in the usable range of the compressor and gate. Then knock off some gain on the way out to keep the mix buss in control.
It's amazing! I did a deep review in spanish, but I'm pending a review for this english channel. I'm so happy you renewed the GUI! ❣Can I modify this comment to add my video?
@@EventideAudio Well overdue. Thank God for the update. The grey is depressing. Can you please give us a white color , sliver or blue option as well. It also needs autogain and analog eqs to compete with all the other strips out there. . I would pay extra for the updates.
Just what I need. Another Channel Strip. Already have too many of them and most of those I don't even use. Only watched this because it is from Eventide. I have the Split EQ, so why would I need this device? Also too many of these plugin Co's, when they "demo" a plugin, are totally obsessed with DRUMS. I am not. I use Toon Track drums, and because they are SOOOO well recorded, I don't even have to split them out into a TON of separate channels, as the majority of TIME spent in this video was "devoted" to Drums. My ONE drum track is my Drum Bus! Very little time spent on bass, more time spent on vocals than the bass, and a whopping 45 sec or so at the end, for keyboards, and WAH-LAH....and NO GUITARS! I do love your Split EQ; still learning how to use it.
I have this for some years and this latest update bring new life to it, how easy a change in looks (and other updates) makes you love it even more

the old GUI was a bit clunnky, so the refresh is much appreciated and i can see myself turning to this plugin more because of that. great stuff!
The entire vocal chain in one plugin...awesome!
That MICRO PITCH SHIFT is amazing guys. with this plugin alone you can get your sounds 60% and above of what you where trying to achieve with them
I like the new look

Dó you haver this one😂?
Extremely helpful and educational! Thanks!! It kinda makes my brain hurt, but...I guess that's part and parcel when Learning.
Great explanation! Thanks so much. This may be my new favorite.

Has this demo song been released?
Can you put delays 100% wet? I couldn't

Hey there! We're not sure what you mean, would you mind sending us a dm on FB/IG?
whats the upgrade path for the original owners?
UltraChannel owners can get this new update for free by downloading the latest installers from our website!

@@FC-xc3zy Great feedback! Noted 📝
@@FC-xc3zy yeah autogain or mix lock would be a great addition.
@@EventideAudiothis is how upgrades should be done. cross-grade and upgrade charges for newer versions are predatory practices in my opinion.
Cool

This one is a bit different, and it's one of the few that are very cpu friendly
This is the best channel strip around
Imagine what a mixer can do with this channel strip if its EQ had a dynamic section.

(I've been holding out)
