I would love to hear Agnetha sing the first one. I think she would make the lyrics flow a little more. I just listened to Agnethas I'm Still Alive again for the first time in a year and it really is very special but Kicki still does justice to both songs. Both good.
Unfortuneatly, Agnetha never recorded these songs herself (as far as we know; there might be demo versions with her vocals on in the Secret Polar Tapes Library); but she produced them, and had high hopes for Kicki Moberg. Agnetha was invited to write a song for the swedish heats for Eurovision [Melodifestivalen] in 1981, and chose "Natten Är Vår" -and had Kicki perform it in the contest -but she did not win. Great to have these two songs on TH-cam: thanx, KarlDan!
Finally -and thanx to you, KarlDan -I have this LP, but I do not have it on cd, so I'll keep playing this forever. How much can I wish the demo of this track is hidden in some vault, and to be 'found' some day -with Agnethas vocals on? Thanx once again, Dan -Love from John

@@KendraKanary Ah, I see. Well in former days, the composing was proceeded by Benny and Björn together with Benny in the lead, whereas the lyrics were written by Björn only. Benny said it is no fun to write them, so Björn had to do it. After ABBA, or after Chess the separated as songwriter duo. Benny composes, Björn writes the lyrics. And you can hear it in the compositions a bit. But songwriting is always a fleeting process. It's like brainstorming with notes, that come in small or large waves.

No, Ingela Forsmann did. Björn wrote the English lyrics.
