It's hall recorded. Amitabh sung it very deep voice in the movie, the mic of the phone is unable too pick the sound.
Madhava song in Trailer 2 is better than the movie version, i hope it comes in Kalki 2

The same song (Telugu version) was sung better in the trailer (release trailer) and sucked in the movie. They should've replaced it in the movie.
