- It is finally coming, the sequel to what is without a doubt the most popular video I have ever made, Rockman Rumble. This time, I have Adobe to help me out, and I am 100% confident I can complete it before the end of the year, sound and all. I would like some opinions on how I shall handle updates and show progress. Shall I post Rumble 2 in segments or just announce progress and save it all for the final unveiling?
Oh, on to business. MET had graciously given permission to use his MegaMan guitar playthrough remixes, and I am happy to plug his work whenever possible. Please check out his channel, he has not only MegaMan but Contra and lots of other great stuff. / arcypankracy

and I fully intend to take the feedback of the first Rumble to heart, while proving Plantman deserved to win the last one, despite the fluke finish :P

unfortunately no Tomahawk Man. I would have to create him from scratch, and he had quite a bit more detail than some of the other custom edits I made.
What a comeback! loved the original all those years ago!
I also need to think about what is in store for after Rumble 2 is completed. I don't want to just go idle for years again. I wand to keep things going. There is just only so much I can do by myself :P

I actually found it pretty hilarious.
I am excited for part 2 also I like how the health bars are huge in this
I even have a kind of mechanic to them. The lower the health, the slower their weapon energy recharges. Conversely, the lower their weapon energy, the slower their health regains. So there is potential strategy for some to stay out of the action and heal up, or find the right moment to blast away all their energy. Though I also don't want to keep one just standing in a corner for several minutes. So its a bit of a balancing act :P

@@imdone5001 Well, there is still no time limit finish, so you still have to do something and actually defeat the opponent in order to win. :P
The Return of the King
Oh man, I am so FUCKING excited for this! If Magnet Man does not win this time, there will be blood in the streets! #sarcasm. In all truth, I can't wait for this in the non-literal sense. It is always great to see someone be able to make a comeback. I think on updates-wise, I wouldn't want to see any footage (even screenshots), but if you DID want to reveal things then revealing the final Robot Masters from their silhouettes periodically would be a great way to retain interest. I'd say leave ONE still in shadow through launch just so there is SOME speculation, but otherwise that'd be the only "spoilers" I'd want, as a screenshot would unintentionally potentially reveal who has entered, when, and who has lost throughout the sporadic timeline.
At the very least providing updates of which entry I have reached and how far on the timeline I have gone.

Unfortunately his sprite sheet was a bit limited. I didn't like the idea that every time he used his weapon, he had to be in a jump.

It would put later entries in an impossible situation. And you can't just not have them show up all like "oh well, not enough time for any of you to win, too bad" nor have them just stall so that longest lasting thing would be a factor

When is Rockman Rumble 2 coming out?
the goal is still the end of the year. I don't want to state a date only to have to delay and delay and delay. I think I can get animation done by October, but want to give myself some extra leeway. As completion draws nearer, the release date will update to reflect newer projections. But DEFINITELY within 2020

@@mismagiusthemagicuser2341 I am including as many as I can with full animation. The missing ones either have far too limited sprite sheets or don't have proper sheets to work from. But, if Rumble 2 ends up being a success, I may re-make them with vector art instead of pixels, so I will have greater control, and will be able to make the other masters more easily.

part 2 and I don't think napalm man will win because of the energy limitation I think plant man will be 15th in this rumble I think napalm man is going to appear halfway again and place 3rd because I think there will be a part with only napalm man and gutsman fighting and napalm man will ragequit because of the energy

part 3 guts man vs gyro man I think guts man will be here because I think he will have a late entrennce and gyro man will have the final entrennce because he is the final suprise and I think gutsman will win the next rumble aka rumble number 2

Bass and protons should be in along with zero
if you look at SnakeMan, you will see I built him off of Bass' sprite sheet, so the two would kinda clash visually. Besides, Robot Masters only :P

@@Chronic_kev Unfortunately no, and they would not match the style anyway. They would have to wait until all sprites are re-drawn in vector instead of pixel.... and THAT will take some serious time.

It still wouldn't have mattered, as I wouldn't have been able to convert the MegaMan 11 Masters into the 16-bit style.

Well... he wouldn't be GyroMan otherwise, lol. Plus, ShadeMan got to fly in the last one, and it didn't exactly serve to his advantage. I would have brought him back too... if I didn't frak up his sprites
@@TrueVoidMonarch Yeah, I was being stupid. I saw streaks of purple across his head and thought it was an error, changing it all to skin color because (like a moron) I thought he was bald. It wasn't until looking at his character art I saw he had a purple helmet with orange down the center (not skin color).
By the time I noticed this, it was too late. Any attempts to re-import a sprite sheet made it blurry compared to the other sprites (something with the Adobe update that I am not sure how to fix)

alright so all megaman bosses from 1-6 are here and are 8 bit megaman 7 bosses are also here and are 16 bit in your remade designs they are 16 bit megaman 8 is 16 bit and I already know you would have to start from scratch to make megaman 8 bosses but can't you make megaman 9 and 10 bosses because they are 8 bit edit:
I forgot to say the only other game that should be impossible is megaman 11 bosses because they are in full hd
All of the 9-10 bosses I would have to make from scratch, or more likely use other already made sheets as a base. But, they are much easier to do than the 8 and R&F/MM&B bosses, because the 8-bit designs of 9-10 are far easier to make than the 16 and 32-bit ones.
I already had my eye on GalaxyMan, JewelMan, HornetMan, TornadoMan, NitroMan, and SolarMan
all of which would be even easier to do if I make Vector versions instead of Sprite versions (which would take longer, but look much better)
After Rockman Rumble could the Next series’s be called Maverick Mayhem or something.
Hmm... y'know... I like the sound of that. MM1 could use X1-3 while MM2 uses X4-6 (graphic styles don't clash). Though, some of them don't have much actual animation to work with either, like Rainy Turtloid, plus he fills half the screen LOL

TenguMan would be rough, at least at this stage, as the 32-bit style would clash with the present 16-bit style. I did try a BombMan edit, but I wasn't happy with it. The problem with SpringMan is, the aspect ratio between MegaMan 7 and Power Fighters doesn't quite match. I could try to stretch him out, but the pixels are still square so that would require some extra thought.
The alternative is if I re-draw the sprites as vector images instead of pixelated sprites. In that case, BombMan and SpringMan are at the top of my list, right next to FireMan, MetalMan, SkullMan, DrillMan, KnightMan, and a bunch of names from MegaMan 8-10. Plus of course the already established names we have here.
Lol i didn't expect you to make a sequel to a 8 year old video, but im not complaining
making the sequel was always in my plans, but life circumstances had always managed to find ways of interfering. Now I am working hard to make it happen, and am as of now halfway through the 8th entry ^_^

Well, for sake of making him not OP, I eliminated the time stopper from his moveset, and instead made it a teleport, which drains energy the longer he stays hidden in transit

wow one year later an its still in development, must be good.
Well, the original Rumble took me a year and a half. Granted I didn't have Flash back then, but this one is going to be twice the length (if not more)
And I had the period of four months were I had to step away (thanks to a Windows Update trashing some things, and making Premiere unusable)
But all totaled, it should be about a solid year of production, so twice the length over 2/3 of the time... that's no small potatoes :P
Plus... I sincerely hope it is good, and at least as well received as the original. I hope beyond hope that everyone is happy with it, and I cannot wait for that day when I can finally premiere it and share in the excitement :D

Unfortunately, as much as I want him in there, there is a problem. Both my SkullMan and SnakeMan edits were both built off Bass' sprite sheet, and it would be awkward to see them both on screen at the same time. It came down to which one was completed and which one was not,... so that goes to SnakeMan

Oh, no, as we can see in the already completed footage, it affects everyone. There is even a moment where PlantMan's attack fails because he was low on energy. You can see the warning flash

Because I ran out of time while making it. I had a convention I planned to show it off at, and the deadline was approaching too fast, I needed a quick ending
Napalm Man destroyed everyone last time and would have won if he had more health. Now he got nurfed
his abilities were a bit OP, especially that massive shoulder missile spread

@@LunaMinuna its one of the drawbacks of the original 8-bit games, every Robot Master that should have been amazingly epic was hampered by the limits of the technology and stuck in an easily identifiable pattern. I have improved SnakeMan so much, if you saw the SnakeMan vs. ShadowMan bout I did years ago

When he runs out of energy, he'll have to wait until it recharges, like everyone else
@@k1productions87 ok but someone like gutsman has a dash (which shouldn't take any energy) so he can freely attack without any drawbacks, so that would make him extremely powerful. Most robot masters rely on their abilities, so will they get new attacks for balance or?
@@tankman1522 I try to make everyone’s weapon power usage comparable to the damage output as well as the field of fire or area of affect.
