Hello Lily, it was good to hear your thoughts on fragrance notes, bottle styles and prices. I love sandalwood in fragrances too, but I love all sorts of wood notes it's not just one only. I am pretty open minded about fragrance notes and honestly it can depend on a total composition of a fragrance. I do struggle with aldehydes and iris but hopefully will eventually find the ones I can enjoy. I don't mind some gourmand notes like vanilla but don't typically want to smell like literal gourmand. White florals are hit and miss for me. I tend to prefer fragrances that have at least some absolutes or essences as they smell more complex. Ugly bottles can be a turn off for sure! Thanks for your video! - Jenn
Hi Jenn 🤗! Thank you for sharing your preferences ❤️ I try to be open minded as well. I found a new love that doesn't much at all my favorite notes (or so I thought) - Encens Mythique from Guerlain. A salty rose that reminds me of seaside in winter time. Have a great week!
Hi Lily, Amirage and Samsara are two of my all time favourites perfumes. They are just class in a bottle! I think middle eastern perfume bottles are very ott (over the top) and gaudy. The scents also are very hit and miss too.
Hi Ann! Thank you for sharing 🤗🥰! Oh, Amarige and Samsara are just timeless elegant perfumes, yes. As for the Middle Eastern bottles, they can either be pure class like Amouage or... Ott as you put it. But I must say that it is also thanks to middle eastern influences that I discovered my favorite type of rose - dark, spicy and incency 🥰
I'm still struggle with rose. I love amber, tuberose, jasmin, tonka. I like when liquid are gold. It's disgusting for me when bottle are made od thin metal.
I weep for the loss of real perfume...vintage everything is so obviously better than the weak thin annoying cr∆p that is marketed today. Also, complexity seems to be a foreign concept anymore. Popular scents today smell like either cheap vanilla or the steam from a laundry room.

Hi, Agnieszka 🤗! Oh, gold liquid is attractive to me as well 😍. And Montale metal bottles don't attract me at all
