My poor dog is terrified by the sounds of fireworks. I'm currently sitting in the closet with him, door closed, with two fans on high in the bedroom, and this licking sound playing. I usually use white noise, but I recalled that dogs are calmed by the sound of licking, so I thought I'd try it. Seems to have worked.

This is going to sound so dumb, but that pause at 3:57 just sets off a strange good feeling... Maybe because I remember my dogs doing that often or something.

Hi, no, I did not do that! TH-cam changed a setting so that now all videos over 8 minutes have mid-roll ads. I would never put an ad in the middle or at the end of a relaxing asmr video.

I'm turning off mid-roll ads on all of my ASMR videos. Here's what TH-cam has on their news blog about the new mid-roll ads on videos over 8 minutes long - "In early July, we announced upcoming changes to mid-roll ads to help balance viewer experience and increase monetization potential for creators. These changes have now been rolled out as follows: The eligibility threshold for videos to have mid-roll ads has been reduced from 10 to 8 minutes. I find it very shocking and appalling how so many people can't tell that this is looped. I don't need people to tell me that it's looped, I just know it by watching the damn video. You can clearly tell where the clip has been cut and repeated.
