As a devils fan I laughed pretty hard with Biz calling Lindy - Joe Biden
yeah it might be a little less funny in a couple years- he might have CTE or something I have not seen him in a while but some of the little TV hits he did not seem as sharp as he used to be.

Proud kraken fan here. Seattle went from 3rd from last to the wildcard spot and beating the former Stanley cup champions. Consensus around the fan base was to finish with at least above .500. That goal was absolutely shattered and even here in WA, not a lot of kraken fans thought they were going to win. Biz said it best; we have 4 lines made up of 2nd line players, playing against the kraken is absolutely relentless, the depth and conditioning is ridiculous. Over the regular season the stars shit kicked the kraken, and if we get shit kicked in this second round, as stated earlier in the podcast, we have nothing to lose. At this point every game won is icing on that 100ft tall cake. Even if we get swept, the absolute turnaround of the team is legendary. If we don't make it to the conference finals this year, give it 5 years tops. You will see the kraken in the cup finals.

NJD-Car: Lindy Ruff may look old but he's done a great job, season and 1st round. He was largely responsible for keeping that very young team loose for game 7, and he pushed all the right buttons in that series. Canes team D and Brind'amour are equal or slightly better. They'll make fewer mistakes. However, I don't trust the Canes goalies, especially Andersen. And I think NJD are on a serious roll now. The only guy who worries me, if I'm the Devils, is Aho. He's not just an x-factor, he's amazingly clutch. He carried them vs the Islanders. I remember a breakaway goal he scored in the season vs the Bruins - regular season, yes, but it was such a ferocious goal, and kind of a statement win at the time.
I was checking top 30 goalies of all time. Carey Price was at #22, only 40 wins shy to enter the top 10 ! He deserved to climb the ranks. All class
If Bruins didn't win the big one in 2011, this group would be looked at one of the worst chokers in hockey history.
Kostin did this all the time in St Louis. He'll show up for two games and then disapear again for games on end.

Carolina is faster than the Rangers comparing that series to this one it's nuts Carolina has a night and day better forecheck the Stahl line will shut down which ever line they're up against considering they're still s****** green, basically it comes down to the goaltending well there's what 3 maybe 4 of the guys on that team that have ever played a playoff game in Raleigh they call it the loudest house in the NHL for a reason boys. We don't have to compare the defensive side Hamilton is the liability in this series Pashe I'm feeling even better then before I watched the show. I don't ever miss one keep up the great work

What are your thoughts on reviewing every goal for offsides? It seems to just ruin momentum for both sides and even when it’s a goal scored against you that gets called back it just feels boring… if it’s a bad enough offsides the refs catch it… it feels that the offsides not caught doesn’t change the game!
There was a terrible no call offside in the playoffs a few years ago on Matt Duchene which sparked this rule. Personally I agree with you, it feels cheap to get a goal called off from an offside that happened 30 seconds ago.
The problem is that the refs don’t always catch it. It’s a necessary evil.

As chiclets evolves, I wonder what role RA will have. I think he’d be a good fit behind the scenes in a producer role like Grinelli. Maybe with an occasional cut to him to clarify some hockey history, stats, etc while the boys are talking.
I understand he co-created the original podcast, so not trying to dog the guy, but it’s obnoxious and almost anxiety inducing trying to follow him, with all the ticks and mumbled speed talk, like he’s coked out.
I’d like to see Yandle on more and have Murles take on more of what RA does, list of topics or what not.
I like what RA brings to the table, he’s the fan rep :)

Not sure why Rick Bowness got so much grief over his truthful and authentic comments. A coach’s career depends on the player’s performance. How are these prima Donna players supposed to respect and listen to their coach if he can’t speak his mind?
He didn’t call out an individual player when he said he was disgusted. These players are way too pampered. Instead of whining to the media, they should’ve taken accountability.
It’s a breath of fresh air to hear some authenticity in a media interview, as it rarely exists amongst the canned statements and politically correct answers.
