Già negli anni '60 incideva dischi in inglese ed altre lingue ma col fatto in quegli anni anche nella musica venivano incise covers in italiano dalle versioni originali e pure i cantanti stranieri cantavano in italiano e in tv non venivano intervistati oppure ( raramente) venivano usati gli interpreti anche se il conduttore conosceva la lingua ( Mike Bongiorno e Raffaella Carrà...tanto per citarne un paio )...il provincialismo di allora imponeva profili bassi. I’m Italian, my mom used to listen to Mina my whole childhood life especially during Sundays. She was a living legend in the 60s. Till this day people try to sing her songs but honestly (just my opinion) they will never match her voice and sensation she gives you. Most of her songs are still very popular among my generation, maybe not all but a lot of them. Happy to know you enjoy one of our top artists.

@@65alef lo era sicuramente, ma avrebbe potuto avere un grande successo alll'estero se solo avesse parlato 2 parole di inglese....questo e' un grande handicap per i cantanti e anche per gli attori italiani. Non sono conosciuti oltre i nostri confini.

Già negli anni '60 incideva dischi in inglese ed altre lingue ma col fatto in quegli anni anche nella musica venivano incise covers in italiano dalle versioni originali e pure i cantanti stranieri cantavano in italiano e in tv non venivano intervistati oppure ( raramente) venivano usati gli interpreti anche se il conduttore conosceva la lingua ( Mike Bongiorno e Raffaella Carrà...tanto per citarne un paio )...il provincialismo di allora imponeva profili bassi.
P.S Mina è ancora viva e in attività...perciò non scriva " era" : È !

Considera che con il tempo e' ulteriormente migliorata, dagli anni ottanta era capace di tutto. I’m Italian, my mom used to listen to Mina my whole childhood life especially during Sundays. She was a living legend in the 60s. Till this day people try to sing her songs but honestly (just my opinion) they will never match her voice and sensation she gives you. Most of her songs are still very popular among my generation, maybe not all but a lot of them.
