- I live in my jeep, but during the summers it's difficult. So I am staying in cabins for this summer to get out of the heat. It's a big change for me staying in cabins after living in my jeep for so long.

Congratulations on being sober for 5 years, I've been sober for 7 years, and I've never been happier , I believe we are a A part nature , Nature was the best medicine for me . And the mountains is one of my favorite places, any where with a high energy vibration 😊
35 yrs sober here. Nature is healing to all woes 🎉
2mo no cigs or booze easy peasy
❤ amen been sober since January 🙏 and I feel so much better. Its a struggle but worth it.
Congrats on being sober! I thankfully never had an alcohol problem. I lost men in my life because I couldn’t take all the alcohol actions! They weren’t willing to give it up for me and I wasn’t willing to live with their alcohol for them. No doubt we weren’t supposed to be with them. lol God knew what He was doing when he got me out of those relationships! I was married to my husband who had no drinking issues for 37 yrs till I lost him to cancer! He was the love of my life! I miss him everyday!
Cabin life, yes! Road trips every so often. That would be MY ideal.
Need a home base
City life really sucks. Keep searching and you will find your perfect place.
One of your better videos, Sarah. What’s wrong with getting a cabin that is secluded (believe me, they do exist), and still continue to go places and camp out with little one every now and then?
You’ve already proven you can hack living year-around in some pretty brutal places in a Jeep with a dog, and I salute you for that. However, you now have a Wandering Jeepsy brand with over 51 subscribers! Sell your brand, Sarah!
I’m pretty sure most of your subscribers will agree they watch your channel for the Jeepsy, and not the Jeep.
I watched your video talking about yourself. Depression for me is caused by guilt. I made my own bad life because of alcohol and drugs. At 73 yrs it is very hard to live with. I hope you come to love yourself because you should. Thank you for sharing
We love living in nature here in rural Arizona. The cities will suck the life out of you. Keep searching for your happy cabin!
UltImate answer build a cabin on your land ,stay there till you get the itch, jump in the jeep and go till its time to regroup at home base, best of both worlds
I totally agree!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Back in the late 90's I moved to southern Oregon. It took about three months to be able to walk anywhere while barefoot, once it happens you have a totally different outlook on life.
Finally u got a Home !!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
You had the right idea right from the start buy living in a camper. Problem is your camper was to big and heavy for your Jeep. You need a modern lightweight camper no longer than 14 feet and 8 feet wide. The camper has to be rated for off road travel with off road tires. Forget the cabins and go almost anywhere your Jeep can go. Cost a little more gas but so does cabins. I hope you heard me. Thats what I did and couldn't be happier.
I can see Mt Humphreys in the distance, 12,633 feet, I climbed it last year. I live about 45 minutes from Flagstaff...
Nature has much to offer us ... This was a very pretty place ... and you made it glow ....
I wish I could do what you do, my happiness is also traveling and being in nature. Living in the part of Arizona I am, I have lots of opertunity for nature, but the traveling part is hard for me. Traveling to me is going hundreds of miles to a place I've never been before.
That little one is soooo Precious ❤ beautifull video. Thank you
Have you thought about a roof top tent for the summer ? A roof top tent with windows would be much cooler than inside the jeep
I’m not big on social media but my name is who I am .. I live on the gulf on an island in Alabama where my kids are. They live with their mom I’m from upstate NY. Been in bama for 27-28 years now. If u ever need a place to park our island is super friendly and would LOVE u. Anyways we are all fighting some kind of battle I wish u the best reach out if ur in the area super safe and kind people on the island. One day I’ll,hit the road when my kids are grown until then I’ll live through you :) safe travels can tell ur my kind of person🙏🏼
Dogs are intuititive and smarter than we often give them credit for. If Little One is happier in the jeep then follow her lead. By the way, that Arizona sun is hot, hot in the summer even at altitude. Go North and you will still be able to access high altitude camping areas.
TH-cam paying good, nice cabin, thanks BigAl California.
You need a shugardad. Ha! I was just through Flagstaff the other day. Cool town.
Somethings should be just an experience.
ARIZONA FUN TIMES !
GF you gotta do what is right for all involved. You've taken us to places we'll probably never see. Thank you!
Continue with whatever you want to do! Take care of you and lil one!❤🐶😃
Aww lil one braking at her mama!!!
I love your channel and totally relate to your love of nature.
Pros and cons of the travel trailer vs pros and cons of the jeep? I'm just curious.
So get a travel trailer again. It doesn't have to be the Taj Mahal.....just a 20 footer will do. That way, you have the best of both worlds.....the cabin, where you and the little one can "kick back on the couch", and the outdoors that are your, and her, source of happiness.
WJ, check with the US Forest Service. Often, they will rent out out of service fire watch towers. They are in the mountains, they are isolated, and the scenery will be breathtaking
Thanks for another great video and taking us along through your camera lens and letting us see the places you get to go see and travel. Safe travels Sarah and LITTLE ONE...❤✌😊🐕
Hi there, my husband and I love your videos. And I just saw one today about you trying to figure out if you like staying in the cabin once in a while or if you like to be out in nature so it might be a really great idea for you to get a little, compact trailer that you can pull with your jeep that would give you more room. They have these little Casitas, which are not too expensive and other brands that you might be able to pull with your jeep and it would give you room to stretch out and you know, maybe cook a little something. I’m just thinking that may be a great way for you to stay out in nature longer and be able to stretch out and enjoy yourself. Keep making videos, we love you!
Thanks for another from the heart vid,
why does it need to be one or the other?
That is 😅❤Sarah
How is your land coming along or have I missed something about it ❤❤
I'll be working on that for next summer
👋 , little one may needs a tiny adirondack chair to relax in and just stare out , ,
I would suggest you start reading inspirational and spiritual books. Get insights from good authors as you navigate your life in a positive direction.
Your really doing g good with 5 years. ❤ lolol
Enjoyed again, Sarah and Little one, glad you too, have a choice between cabin and jeep, me, still in minivan in fla no regrets
🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
Get a motor home.
That's expensive 🤣
i started living full time in a cabin 2 years ago…..sold my house in the city bought a cabin and am loving it
Hats off to you jeepsy. You and your beautiful little one are living lives we dream about. Thanks for taking us along with you! And hanging out at the cabin is good with us as well. If you're happy we are happy!
Your on the right track ... Stay away from Cities... Peace !
Sleeping in a vehicle can be brutal in the summer heat, finding a cabin by a lake in the woods for the summer would be ideal, Jeepsy, I'm sure you'll love it!
Nomad living, exclusively, is too hard. Not cheap either. Too much vulnerability to the elements.
Cabin life is groovy!
As we age it is harder for our bodies to handle the extremes of heat and cold.
❤🤗🌹 I realize this sounds a little corny, but home is where the heart is .
You’re a very beautiful woman and a beautiful soul. I enjoy listening to you and watching your videos. I’ve been feral and a loner for a long time myself. God bless you and protect you.
Much love and respect
Great scenery! Have a good Summer and stay cool. 😎
That's a challenging issue for full timers who don't have A/C. The very high elevations do give some relief, but the longest stay is 14 days, then you have to find somewhere else. Flagstaff is nice, but it gets too hot there (90s) for most people and certainly for pets...and you still have the 14 day issue. This year is supposed to be hotter than normal - being inside with A/C is the only way to cope with the heat. Little One is feisty, she's feeling good being back in nature.
What happened with the land in the desert that the lady gave you?
I am gonna start getting that land together next year, so I can stay on it for next summer. Due to weather and timing I couldn't do that this year
Don’t worry be happy
I always try to find a little Home in my heart that way I'm at home even if I'm thousands of miles away
im glad youre staying in a cool, comfortable place, it depresses me to think of vehicle dwellers being in miserable, dangerous conditions, it's worth the money especially considering your pup, my experience w/a little dog is their cooling system doesnt cool as well with age.
They chose it
Yes, some of us did choose this lifestyle but some people are forced into it 😒 I chose to live like this in nature cuz it makes me happy. I just have to work around certain things and weather. But I'm still happy to live this way!
That little baby girl dog is so precious! Truth be told I don’t think she really cares where she is as long as she’s with you.
Beautiful lake you make it even more beautiful Ms Sarah
Try Coos Bay, Oregon. Beautiful area right on the coast and rarely ever gets above 70°.
Broke down there on a vacation. Ended up staying an extra day or two there. Didn't even hurt the vacation.
Cabin life is cool, peace, serenity, you can write, work, see nature and animals and insects, shelter is more secure than mobility, you can do short hauls time to time, in society, major changes have taken place, i am 59 and it is abnormal for me, i have seen my grandparents be angry, my parents now me, machines and technology has changed normalcy, so yea now days many people seek secluded space, a person can go to town time to time to interact but retreat to home for a more controlled space.... be cool pretty lady !
You are by far, one of the coolest people I've ever had the pleasure to learn by. Ty Jeepsy 😊
I respect your choice and reasons for living such solitude but I could never be so alone. I must have people contact and I would be very afraid in the wilderness alone. I do want to caution you not to get so comfortable that you forget the wild predators in those areas. Please always be prepared for Bears, Lions, Cougars, Coyotes, etc. please educate yourself on each of these and never leave your vehicle without taking the necessary precautions. Coyotes if hungry enough have been known to snatch a small dog in front of the dog’s owner. You cannot be too careful. Always leave a note inside your truck which way you went on a hike. etc. not to scare you but I do worry about your safety. ❤
Be strong enough to be honest and kind
Beautiful scenery. The cabin and woods are nice too.
I thought you were in ca on the ocean taking care of your friend
I am. I had videos saved on my laptop from the places I was at before I came out here, so I could still get some videos out while I was here helping my friend.
Thank you for the update. Peace be with you.... Love Carolyn
Happy ur Slowing down in ur Life , shows ur having a better peace of mind 😊 But it's allway's good i think to have icheee feet and Travel ! Me i like traveling in my MH 34FT And Towing my 4x4 & dirtbike & peddle bike ! But a person i think needs a Home base too just go hangout regroup and Fix ur stuff to head back out Again !! As allway's take care of urself Girl's 👍👍
It's a awesome life !!! Glad your having a great time ! Congratulations on 5yrs ! Don't blame you , I'm not a party person either !
No doubt about it, time for a transition. What you have been doing is unsustainable, and it seems that you have finally come to terms with that. A home base of some sort and road trip adventures when the spirit calls is the ticket I think. Keep perfecting your craft Sarah.
Love your videos on your traveling adventures 😊 and may God Richly Bless you and may Jesus Christ show you His GREAT love that He has for each of YOU ❤️ Just ask Him to show you personally His Love as He did to me years ago 😊
Rest, relax and reset. Time for yourself, your friend and Little one. Take care Sarah.💦🌿🌻
You seem to be doing well. Keep it going..❤
Thats great you think ahead..I want to do utube, seem so hard. I need to talk to you about this. Your doing great. You are a people person who just loves nature .best decision you made I think. To get on the road..much love
The mountains are calling and I must go
Do yourself a favor. It's a fact that TH-cam viewers lose interest in a video after 5 minutes. Your videos will key on a subject like the driving way too long before another scene.
Great video. Cabin life heaven ❤
Was homeless for over a year prior to this run down home I now rent for $300.00 monthly. Yes it's very cheap rent but it's also riddled with repair needs and no insulation but I thank God for the roof over my head. My suggestion is for you to get a Honda duel generator and a small air conditioner installed in your jeep. Possibly the kind in a RV or something made by Mitsubishi's line of air conditioners. Thermo king company also has solutions to help you Sarah ! Love you and best wishes to find relief and please correspond me to let me know as I'm a retired trucker and I can relate with you on this problem. !?
Thank you!
Thanks for being honest about the lifestyle…hope you find your happy spot👍🏼 I’m on the hunt for my perfect spot too… not easy !
Sweet...however people still getting I'll. I'm 69 female abs my while world just ended for me. No one around me could care less....im alone ... bit doing the pity party...but. in screwed
❤👍🏼👍🏼🤗
Do your own thing!! Outdoor life is perfect for seclusion, peace and serenity. Stay safe, may God continue to keep you heathy and happy!!
It’s beautiful there!
Your videos are great! I've been watching since you started. A couple of suggestions for you for out of the way cabins. Girl, have you been up to Cold Creek Nevada? Most people don't know about it. It's one of the few remaining places left in the U.S. you can still see wild horses. It's unbelievably beautiful at 6,500 ft. A very small secluded community exists there, about 1 person per mile, yep about 1,000 peeps total. So much off-roading and cabins galore. It's 6/18 today and the temp there now is 77 degrees. Here's a link to a short video done by friends of mine.
th-cam.com/video/cYBaZYebIAI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aLdnTkfMiArg-_OK
Another place is Duck Creek or Swains Creek in Southern Utah. All kinds of cabins and major off-road trails. God's country for sure. I hope this helps on your search for tranquil cabins!
I hear yA,,something more meaningful perhaps, fulfilling, m a y b d a best friend just share this trip with..thiughts gials concerns. Someone with. Heart..laughing staying up late....im nit trying to sell ya any junk lady😀..
Thank you for the excellent video and update. I understand about the heat. I can't function in it at all. My I ask about the property you were so excited about that the nce lady gave you. Did something change there? If not, perhaps build a pleasant cabin there. It appeared fairly remote to me in those videos.
You could start small and grow as time goes on. You are always talking about a homestead. But then you and little one could still jump in the jeep and go off on excursions whenever you'd like! Just a thought Sarah.
Be well be safe and be happy!
☮️💜😊
I’m wondering if your trailer is still in storage, sorry, I can’t remember if you sold it. Maybe a solar powered mini split? I don’t know, I’ve seen Chuck Cassidy install those. You could either move the trailer every 2 weeks or buy an undeveloped lot in the right area depending on county restrictions. SUV RVing recently did a video on buying property that was very thought provoking. I’m just brainstorming! I know you’re looking for a long term solution, and I too can’t do the heat anymore!❤
Growing up my grandad and I spent many many weekends trout fishing at Ashurst. There are several nice lakes by Williams you might explore. There are 7 nice lakes around Showlow and Heber that are high elevation and cooler. For a good remote lake with nice camping and not so many tourists look at Bear Canyon lake...I think camping is still free.
Have you considered a little trailer or teardrop? I fully understand how you feel. It’s hot here in Oklahoma right now. And having heart failure I can’t be in it. My kids are scattered around the world enjoying what this life has to offer. It’s father’s day and I think of my dad, and my mom. I think of my wife and how much I miss that life. Congestive Heart Failure is such a slow lonely death.
You are not feral, you are free! You noticed Little One sees the difference between looking out of the window inside a box, and actually being out in nature roaming about. A home base is great, you just haven't found it yet. (Or possibly you have, and it has four wheels.)
Well, listening between the lines I’m hearing depression talking. This is very similar to my own self talk. We isolate because it feels safe and we can control our environment. Even being 90% healed of PTSD depression I daily think the same as you. I to am looking for that perfect place and hope you find it.
As I've said before, Mt. Palomar in California has some nice cabins, and so does CA's lost coast.
I don't think Li'l One entirely trusts the camera.
I think it's an excellent idea for you to find a central spot from like a cabin . That is why I live in Prescott because it is centrally located .. there's adventure in every direction . I haven't drank alcohol in 7 years. I don't drink at all period . However I do smoke marijuana and eat the occasional mushroom . But that is the only thing that really helps me from anxiety and depression and PTSD as I am a Marine veteran . I've tried meds the VA gave me and the psychologist has given me nothing works better than marijuana and mushrooms especially because you don't have to take it on a regular basis.. I'm getting ready to buy a house also I'm going to start looking next week.. I would like to try to find something around Ponderosa or Groom Creek area. Somewhere in the forest close to the trails 😁
Your videos really inspire me. I love your calm nature and thirst for exploration. I truly feel the way you explain how nature makes you feel and I feel the same way. It is therapy for the soul. May God bless you on your journey. Stay safe beautiful and thank you for taking us along ❤️
What about your land? Put a prefab tiny home on it and build it out on solar. Jackery etc. Get some chickens and s goat. He'll I'm headed for s nursing home cuz this body done gave out. Sooner than I expected
Maybe shop around for a tear drop camper and see if that would satisfy your need for a little more space. Or look into affordable lot's and have a home base you could turn into a private oasis. CL often has good deals on lots all over the USA... Manifest it... You've got the power girl 🎉❤🎉
Sometimes heaven is in your mind,as you travel you'll see a little bit of it everywhere.Lil Bit seems very content being your sage advisor on this journey.Peace Thanks for sharing the beauty.
I hope you are ok..I'm sensing relapse depression..I had to think a bunch before I typed this..if it offends you..way sorry..nip that in the bud if so..there are strategies you can do..I just care, as odd as that may sound..I know it's not my business..
Sarah, you need God. I am not talking about the universe or some other new age bullshit. You need Jesus Christ in you life. You need the Holy Spirit. God is the only One who will fulfill what you are looking for. I'm sorry you are so lost and broken. I will continue to pray for you. Please open your heart. There is no hope in the road you are going.
About your jeep overheating.
Higher elevations can lead to changes in fluid dynamics.
Essentially your radiator fluid evaporates.
Kind of the way your skin get dry at higher elevations. Be being at sea level.
It can lead to engine issues down the road.
Evaporation of radiator fluids. Can lead to head gasket issues etc.
Just another thought in case it is not your thermostat.
CABIN FEVER ALREADY ??? LOL....😁
Hi Jeeps, I live in a house, and my little dog spends the time she is not sleeping looking out the window too. I think she is protecting the house. She loves to bark at the mailman.
15.04 I'm happy in nature. Exactly how I feel too
If u manage to stay wherever u are for 5 days I'll find a way for u to see me..without scaring you. Ttyl I'm driving
Off topic; Congratulations on your 5 years of sobriety. I belong to a secret society that knows that struggle.
Stay out of the cities. They have little to offer for my Peace of Mind.
I'm thinking you will figure it out. Just do what you want and keep after what you want.
Just keep talking from your heart, good things will follow,
