There is a link between metaphor and dialectics, and between metonymy and dialogics that is not mentioned here, but the compression concept is okay to go forward.

Saul Paulo Could you elaborate this statement? I myself am interested in links between metaphor and dialectics.

At 36 min's: "See I don't say EVERYTHING is blending" - Mmmm. Was that a jibe at Mark (Turner)?!?

I read this as how compassion gives rise to metaphor's and metonymy at first, lol.

It should be pointed out to you that Dan Winter the electrobiologist says compassion Is compression, may want to get into that ?

It's kind of misguiding to say non computer science people. Gilles is trained as a cognitive scientist. Probably he has all the necessary computer science background to make him an expert to talk about such topics. You don't need to take database and software foundations classes to be called a "computer scientist". Thank god people use those principles for theoretical work in empirical sciences.

This video is a perfect example of non computer science people trying to explain computer science topics without even realising it.

He was formed as an engineer and received an award for his contributions in the improvement of plane engine turbines. He is a true scientist.
