I did buy Shadow of the Tomb Raider on Steam about 2 years ago but only played it for a few hours. I might play it again if they did a reboot true to the original game - I don't care if her boobs are too big or if she can backflip 20ft. The first games were novel, then I was 16. Currently replaying Quake/Quake Ii as they have been remastered. Classic time to have been alive.
Yeah, this quality is ass bc I lost the originals 😭 I backed them up onto a hard drive that didn't itself have a backup and removed them off my PC, and then that drive failed 😭

I tried a blind playthrough and die in the river every single time. After watching your video I am surprised theres so much stuff lying around that I never even discovered! I still prefer the Legend series over any other Tomb Raiders. But I'm trying really hard to appreciate the OG series and I am having a really hard time figuring out where to go, and most importantly HOW.
Am currently playing Tomb Raider one through Github and have seen the pictures of the remaster. I am not impressed. I think Tomb Raider 1 is a beautiful game as it stands. The architecture, the art, the graphics, the textures are exquisite. The music makes me pause; I close my eyes and the music goes through me. It is so lovely. I don''t think the remaster improves this work of perfection.
I was wrong. Having been gifted Tomb Raider 1-3 remastered, and played Tomb Raider 1, I have to say that the beauty has been enhanced. I thought remastered meant remade, and while there are tweaks here and there, it is nothing big. So I apologise. The remaster is beautiful.

It kind of blows me away just how much of an improvement the intro and cut scenes are in this one compared to the first two. Still annoyed by "Antartica" though. LOL!
I dunno, I would imagine there's some insider feeding info out to the public about secrets in games. Some things just seem impossible to figure out without fore-knowledge. Although, I believe secrets get out because tons of people try random stuff and they just figure stuff out and share it publicly. I'm sure the answer is somewhere in between these.
When I was a kid I played this game and didn't have a save card so I never went too far, but after doing the first and second levels hundreds of time I discovered all the secrets, including the first one and just by chance.

Trip down memory lane. I got Tomb Raider 3 for Christmas 1998 along with Half-Life. I probably played it for a year or so. Have never re-installed it.

The crystals on the pc are green health crystals, and on the remastered for the ps4, it's a collectible.
In the remastered version the key is to the right, not in front of the ladder

Really random but I used move through the quick sand and use the medi pack cheat to end level early.
