The Rapture theory which originated from John Darby is not scriptural is misleading so many Christians today. Jesus fulfilled what He said He would do in His generation and He told Peter where the bodies would be that were taken. Matthew 24:28 “For whatsoever the carcasses is, there the eagle will be gathered together”. Psalm 37:29 “The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever “ Proverbs 10:28 “The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: But the expectation of the wicked shall perish” 🔹 Just like the times of Noah - the wicked perished in the flood and Noah remained with his family to replenish the earth because he was righteous in the eyes of God. Although the word "rapture" is not in the Bible, it refers to the moment where all the true Christians who are still living will be caught up in the clouds to meet Jesus Christ in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). It is not misleading since it also refers to the same event in the scripture. That is the moment all true believers of Christ are waiting for because at the end, this earth will be consumed by fire (Zephaniah 1:18). So if you're waiting for a paradise on earth I hope you enjoy your stay here. 'Cause our citizenship is in heaven and from there we are waiting for the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20)
