I've seen some Mack suspensions taken apart a fair amount but never saw it done like that. Slick setup I suppose it only works on trucks with bronze bushings on the trunnions?
Tell you what would be cool showing us how you set up all the jacks and jackstands before you start. No one really shows you that. Would of helped me big time thanks
Whats the benefit of doing it this way vs cutting the ubolts and taking the stack apart.

after u tight the loch nut at axle housing by hummer it can move by hand or not?

It’s a 1 5/16 wrench harbor freight or off a tool truck
the brake push rods are too long, anti seeze is your friend on suspension parts,

So what was worn out on those old spring packs ? Didn't see any broken leaves.
If I had to guess the bearing or bushings in the center pack
If you look at the old compared the new one the bushing was totally worn out and need replaced. Since it is part of the spring pack time to tear it apart and replace the whole thing. Now you could have replaced just the shaft but if you are tearing a camelback down that far you might as well throw springs at it.
