This is an old post, I know, and I'm not sure you're even still reading the comments here but... It was because of your post that I pulled the trigger on Strummed Acoustic 2 as soon as your video came to an end. And after only 2 hours I knew that money was money well spent. This is exactly what I've been looking for for such a long time. It is so easy to use. I have a couple of other more expensive "strummer" plugins that have had me pulling out whatever is left of my hair. No matter how many times I watch a video or read the manuals I just can't get it. I do simple old country and folk music and so I don't need all the bells and whistles and at this stage of my life I really don't want to waste whatever time I have left on this good earth learning how to set up a simple background rhythm acoustic guitar. Also, I was able to buy it with Canadian money - don't have to pay the exchange rate. And best of all, it was half price (Black Friday sale) Thanks again, John, if you're still reading the comments. You should know that you have another sub because of this post. 😁
Thanks for this video. I also bought version 1 but didn't find the patterns useful for the music i was writing. By the way, the crescendos are included in version 1.
Thanks for this review. I was keen to see the difference between version 1 and 2. I bought Komplete standard and it came bundled with version 1. A bit dissapointed they couldn't just give the latest version. Im trying to decide between V2 and "Picked Accoustic" (also from them). I think I will go with Picked Accoustic.
Hi John, have you ever seen this message when installing a Native Instrument sample instrument: "The installation has been prevented You do not have enough free space to install the products .38 GB required on “ Macintosh HD” Please free an additional 8GB"? I have over 260 GB on my Mac HD and Native Access will not allow me to install this plugin. Any advice?

Thanks for this review. I just purchased it last night and now I'm more excited to use it. The only thing I noticed is that the patterns don't sync up with Logic Pros tempo. How can I make them sync?

my native access doesnt work. Ive contacted NI with no response from them. I have 2 products by them that are awesome, but customer service is terrible. I have removed and downloaded na several times with no luck. Any suggestions? I really want this program , its the best out there, but I may have to settle for something else unless I can get na to work.. I have windows OS
great sound! great program! but we are getting more and more lazy because of facilities of the virtual world! maybe in a while we will not have any real musicians!! electronic music that says it!!
But if a robot starts making music, it wont have any emotions. We love the music that humans create, the music that can express feelings, emotions. If a robot would make music then i think it would be a common chord progression with a common beat with no emotions.
I bought this and found out it can't play any normal chords, it automatically adds the 5th. It is totally useless. A complete waste of money. If you write songs with chords other than major and minor this will not work at all.
the search tool with tapping find pattern is also in the first version available

Do you like using the Presonus mixer? My studio is growing and don’t know if I should get a an 8ch interface or just and usb Presonus mix.
Are there more Auto Chord chord choices than in Strummed Acoustic 1? It only had Major, Minor, and No 3rd.

Last question, which I have been able to find an answer for. Can I tap in my own chords, instead of playing them on the keys..?
I I don’t think so...the input must come from a keyboard...the best you could do is program the midi on the piano roll of the software you are using
It needs more of a variety of pattern styles including 6/8 , 12/8 and etc.

Check the strummed acoustic settings and make sure it’s set to sync to host tenpo

JOHN CAN YOU MANUALLY RECORD USING THIS WITHOUT A KEYBOARD? DOES IT WORK LIKE STUDIO DRUMMER? YOU PASTE LOOPS WITH STUDIO DRUMMER
Yes you can...it doesn’t have the loops to paste...but you can use the piano roll to add the midi notes that trigger the chords

I dont use any midi devices as of now. I know they had a window on 1st version to use mouse for chord changes. They have it on this version as well?

What are the system requirements for strummed acoustic 2? I have a mac mini 10.9.5. Can I install this program?
You might need to update...especially if you can’t go any higher than 10.9
Does this library play melodies and single notes as well or did they just design it for strumming, as the name suggests?
