I’m in Barb’s boat, I only get that drooly, eyes half closed daze when napping during the day. I don’t know why but it happens to me too.

I have the weird ability to fall asleep when my plane takes off and to wake up when we land no matter how long the flight is

Imagine sitting on a plane and you just happen to glance over at the row next to yours and you just see this woman with her head on the tray table, she's drooling, and her eyes are half-closed, I'm not the only one who'd be a little worried, right?

I feel you Barbara. There would be times where I sleep and suddenly I drool and I make that slurping sound when I wake up to find out something wet on my pillow and cheeks

Colts Rams Probably a reference to how scouters were regarded as futuristic when they first showed up as a thing in DBZ, in similar fashion to flying cars and flying saucers in other media.

Those traveling inside the attack ball (round spaceship) are kept in a state of suspended animation that minimizes the resources needed to keep them alive. The scouters are clearly a failed attempt at making a reference.

I have trouble sleeping, so I've never experienced this
I only drool sometimes when napping in the afternoons too. Never night.
I'm also happy when I see drool on my pillow, being a insomniac it's a good sign.
I had an experience where I was aware I was asleep, and I just gradually shifted back to consciousness, a rather weird experience.

I have the same with being aware that you just fell asleep, which then wakes me up
It's why I'm watching TH-cam right now to distract from this crippling anxiety related to knowingly going unconscious & not being in control, with the addition of being defenseless in case of a silent assailant...
or like right now, I randomly daydream & close my eyes before I know it. What wakes me up is the realization that my phone is in the hand that just went limp & I don't want it destroyed. So I wake up, put my phone down, watch more TH-cam & eventually wake up a few hours later like "oh hey, I evidently did the thing, eventually. neat."
12 hours? Those are rookie numbers, you gotta pump those numbers up.
Once as a kid, I swear to god, I blinked and it went from middle of the night to the 8 in the morning in an instant. It might've been the closest I got to experience falling asleep.

I feel asleep marching in basic one time. I would "wake up" when our MTI called the next step and just keep going. I'm shocked I didn't fall over. I also mastered sleeping with my eyes open during all the classes. Again, I'm surprised I never got called on or caught. Then I lost those skills as soon as I got out lol

I vote that the animation of barb's hair hitting her in the face is the most satisfying animation this series has ever produced.
Him mentioning sleeping hard reminded me of when I tried to join the Army. In the middle of the night the Drill Sergeants did an exercise. I slept through it. Just opened my eyes to "Attack over, attack over.", blanks being fired and a flare in the sky. Since I already missed everything I just closed my eyes and went back to sleep.
i haven't had any experience like what Barbara describes at the beginning, but i HAVE gotten so tired once or twice that i kinda-sorta started dreaming while i was still awake. the gist of it is that i was sitting in my living room and every time i closed my eyes i found that i was still in the room in the same position but i had a plate of minced chicken that clearly wasn't really there.
I seriously just just had like a form of sleep where I'm 100% aware of my surroundings. Like its such a weird thing that sleep walking and sleep paralysis doesn't fully describe it.

I have this weird ability maybe from being on planes literally a month after being born, that whenever I'm on a vehicle for a trip i can power nap to the last hour of the trip, and it's uncanny how I can wake up at just the right time, cus I'm a deep sleeper, people have had to drag me out of bed to wake me up.

I fell asleep on a flight once before we took off and woke up after we landed. I didn’t know it but my dad told me that I had my head on this woman’s shoulder the entire flight and she just kept reading magazines. By the time I woke up my head was on my own head rest and I would of been none the wiser.

12hr sleep - it's called LAZY
This is especially funny for me because I only recently realized my ability to quickly fall asleep while travelling is not as common/normal among others as I thought it was. I don't fall asleep easily otherwise too, so I don't know what it is about travelling that makes me sleepy (I used to think it was due to lots of family car trips growing up but turns out my family is also in the other boat so... nope). Anyone else?

First time I had edibles I was laying down on my phone and my body suddenly went limp and I instantly shot back like "did I just feel myself pass out??"
I drool so much especially if it's s good sleep the better the sleep the more drool
The only time I can feel myself fall asleep is when I sleep after a test in class.
Side note: my teachers don't care, he just says "As long as you're quiet."

ive only ever gotten sleep paralysis in car rides but only 3-4 times in my life, so i feel like sitting in a plane and getting sleep paralysis would be the worst thing.

I'm just putting this out there, if you feel yourself falling asleep and suddenly jolt yourself awake and feel really energized like you just slept for ages. That's a sign of black mould, there's a type of mould that causes insomnia because your body detects the harmful chemicals in the air and wakes you up to get away from the cause of the chemicals.
