Everytime I hear this song, I always cry. Because no matter who you are, or what you've been through, these lyrics relate to you. I guess I can say that James said it best; when it falls apart, there's no easy way to break somebody's heart. When I had to do it, it would be so hard, and yet when it was done, there's nothing you can say or do to ease the pain that it causes. Anybody who knows what I'm talking about will cry or feel something when they hear this song. James did one hell of a job singing about how things get or they're gonna affect those who we love and have to let go.

Having someone you love look you in the eyes and tell you there is no future between you is one of the most confusing and convoluted experiences you will ever have in your entire life. On one hand, you have immune respect for their honesty, and on the other hand you are confused about why it needs to end and angry over the situation and their decision. EVERYONE listening to this song is either breaking someones heart or having their heart broken- and you don't have to believe me now, but it long the long run, you will be a better human being for it no matter which side you're on. But more important than that, know that you are not going through it alone. You are not the first or the last, and it's painful for both sides. Hang in there.
