Yes, please make a video on the Roman Forum! Anytime, though. No rush! Just add it to the list of video ideas/videos to do, please :D
This was absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for sharing! I've never been outside the US but Italy is one of the top places on my list I want to travel to!

“Guess what? We’re tourists. It’s okay if you want to do touristy things” Haha yesssssssss. Because also, touristy places are touristy for a reason 🙄 They have tons of historical significance 🙄 I’m with you, take advantage of where you are! I don’t get why people get judgy about that...
This was a great vlog! Thank you for sharing! ❤ I went to Italy with my parents when I was around 12 I think. I’d love to go as an adult, at that age I didn’t appreciate the significance of everything we visited :P

This was beautiful! These cities are so mesmerising and grand.
When I was in Venice ten years ago I sometimes felt like I was in a theme park, just shuffling along with hordes of people. My dad visited Venice in the 60s before it became so affordable for mass tourism, and he had a completely different experience of the place.

What a stellar vlog! Sorry to hear about your "good" knee causing you pain. I fell on my knee on our first trip to Rome and understand the physical and mental frustration . Ugh.
Your rooms and views are outstanding! The pantheon is one of my favourite buildings anywhere, too. Breathtaking. Have you been to Naples? I highly, highly recommend it!
Agree about lackluster food at times in Venice. My favourite places to eat in Italy are rural agriturismos and trattorias. I'm a Canadian living in Croatia near Italy and actually prefer the food here (in general).
Grazie mille for sharing your engrossing experiences and perspectives!

Heres a plan.... lets plan to go to Italy in five years. You are so my style of tourist; tours of churches and museums and food and art oh my. Just everything. It was just so breathtaking. Im so envious. Thank you for sharing your trip. Now Im off to find your 2019 trip.........

what a beautiful vlog! i really want to visit florence, it seems amazing. i went to rome in 2020 during the tiny like two week period where italy and the uk both removed their travel restrictions and it was amazing - everywhere was so quiet. people were sitting round the trevi fountain having picnics and the colosseum/forum were almost empty. it was so nice and peaceful

Thank you Jennifer for such a lovely vlog! You made me revisit my trip to Italy, I was there the same time you were but started from the South to the North.
I was disappointed for not having the time to visit the Aqua Alta bookshop, you made me happy to have missed it! I had to do the touristy thing by eating at Florian cafe and even had those blasted seagulls poop on me:)
I got to visit St Mark's basilica after dark, a quite memorable experience, as for David I kept turning in circles around him, in awe.
I visited Santa Croce too and spent a longer time than planned. there. Have you seen Giotto's frescoes in Assisi? Your rooms with the views are amazing, and as you said the crowds detract from the experience, I skipped throwing the coin in the fountain but got to rub the procelliino's nose in Florence. Thank you for the engaging vlog and for sharing your travels and opinions with us.
    Sorry for the long post!

So beautiful! Definitely a country that is very high on my bucket list. Italy and France are probably the two countries I most want to visit that I have not yet. Thank for sharing your adventures!

Venice is so lovely and I’ve only been there when I was 12 🙈 as an Italian I have no excuses. Florence I’ve been a couple of times and it’s really dreamy. It’s so cool that you know how to speak Italian! I agree with your mom re: the David 🤪 (ps Botticelli 🥺♥️) nothing to say about Rome, as cliched as it sounds, it is my fave 🥹 best period to visit crowd wise is August but man it’s h o t

Loved your vlog Jennifer. It was special for me. We went to those same three cities on our honeymoon. I also loved Rome the most. Florence shows what can be done with unlimited talent and money. Venice was beautiful but overrun. Ps. David does look rather Chalametesqe, (if that can be a word.) Not so much like a wolf killin' shepherd boy.
