This encourages me to play around with Sevvy again...he always felt a bit clunky/messy due to the not-so-intuitive ability descriptions, but now I have a better idea what to do with him. Thanks! Kudos on a job well done
It was interesting replaying him and I definitely learned some things and asked questions I haven't before due to him being technically 2 Warframe's, so I'm sure there might be a bit more to uncover but the new augment has definitely helped his builds! Thanks for the comment too!
You need pillage over his gloom. Also add yellow shard so he can insta cast his abilities. Armor strip plus sow and reap. Is the rotation. Remember that his 1 and 2 combo deals enemy health as damage so it scales with enemy level. Also keep in mind with multiple explosion you can stack these damage instances so the more packed these enemies are the more damage. So you can get millions of damage with good grouping. You will one shot damn near everything in a room including eximus and acolytes. That combo lives and dies with grouping though. But with good range and a priming viral from companion.
Another tip regarding Save-A-Goth's 1st ability - If you're using a hybrid build between Sevagoth and his shadow. If you use Reap, ADS and swap to his shadow, reap will keep rotating in place, so you can pull enemies in with his shadow to easily apply the debuff to enemies outside reap's range.
Sevagoth Main here: wanted to add that preparation on the shadow means it spawns with full energy each time you switch to it. The shadow haze augment also completely fills my death well after about 5 kills. Good note on the amber shards, it helps getting into the shadow sooner too I usually use the shadow as a gimmick or to quickly take down the acolytes with heavy attack builds. Arcane reaper to add to survivability/synergy. Currently using azure shards for amour as it affects both base and shadow forms.
As a newly born sevagoth main what do you think is currently a good build to start from. I have seen some builds that focus heavily on shadow now as he is able to proc meele influence and amalgam mods and others like this that are a weapon platform. Really would be a nice help to get started (I personally tend more to a weapon platform build as it seems to get it started easier than a Meele focused build)
@@NorthInium since whispers in the wall I think sevagoth is the most fun for myself when I strike a balance. For general I can use the shadow haze augment and gloom to get most of everything done, but when i want a group nuked down quickly I can go shadow/group then kill. (Or just have my own headcannon of “now you pissed me off 😂”) Some recommendations are rage mod on sevagoth to help with emergency gloom casting, tauforged yellow shard for casting speed (really makes entering shadow so much smoother) Since everything is slow with gloom, go with weapons that give you extra effects for headshots, so any incarnon or the knell, Pyrrana prime (not headshot but easier to keep up effect with arcane pistoleer and secondary deadshot) or the buzlock are some faves. If I feel I want a little more aoe while still keeping precision: kuva chakkur On shadow: energy nexus, preparation and arcane reaper/ arcane strike (I currently use steel charge aura, but I’m curious about ready steel but it would require me to use my 26th forma on sevagoth lol) Claws: before whispers I went with a strictly heavy attack focus build. It clears anything really and can even take out SP demolyst in 1-3 slots well over an hour into play. Now with tennokai I do a normal melees build that just benefits from the free heavy attack (I also use shattering impact as some form of armor strip, it’s slow but if anything survives the claws it won’t after shattering impact finishes (claws have forced impact procs)
TLDR, go for weapons platform with considerations I mentioned and for the love of god if you’re using the shadow; TURN OFF COLOR CORRECTION in your settings lol. Gets rid of the brown/purple filter that comes when you use it.
@@Duke_ofGames Thanks a bunch dude I will mess around. I like the weapon platform and will slowly grind my way to having enough normal forma to get sevagoth lasting me until his prime releases.
Love these, also perfect timing, been trying to find a good build for sevvy and this video saved me the hassle. Always loved this warframe, thanks. A simple note: Shadow Haze augment gives crit chance added after mods and bonuses, scaling with ability strenght. You can make 0% crit chance weapons crit with this, and crit hard. You can get to around 150% added crit chance and dmg vulnerability with 300% strenght. This crit chance doesn't apply to Shadow's claws but every ally will benefit from it anyway. High crit chance weapons will consistently red crit with exclamations marks at points.
I love this frame but he does have a generally clunky kit. I hope his future augments can solve some problems or add new playstyles, would even love if he got an augment that made his deathwell do something outside of it being for his shadow form transformation. He is very good though, well almost any frame can be nowadays, and he has a lot of potential to get better over time.
I love seeing people give frames the prime look before they get their primes. Also, thank you so much for showing the actual archon screen with all chosen buffs visible! Now I'm just counting the months until Sevvy prime 😢
Only started playing early this year and he was the first frame I picked up because he looked interesting. He is now my favorite and I absolutely love playing him.
preperation is a must on the shadow as you spawn with full energy everytime you go into shadow also one change that would make sevagoth amazing (he is alreagy great imo, a solid 8/10 frame, my second most used) is if the 25%hp blast explosion from sow + reap scaled with strength and range. currently its locked at 25% and 4m but making these scale would enable more build diversity on him
I just started playing sevagoth an he's quickly become one of my favorite frames he just has so many options and field presence between him and the shadow
Let's all hope they make his 4th ability, his unique thing, actually viable. Because his current strongest build literally removes his most unique thing
One thing I have not seen (and TRUSTME I HAVE LOOKED) is a complete guide to ALL THE helminth abilities that remain active while in shadow form. Not the the best or popular but ALL of them. People build differently. Fir example most people use him as a weapon platform if they use him at all. I on the other hand have been playing around with a summoner build ( which has been very promising. So if you could PLEASE do this I would appreciate it. Also as far as I can tell you would ne the only one who has done this so great for views. Especially if the shadow gets any buff or a prime variant is released.. Thanx
I've had no problems with the shadow, i suggest puting preparation since it lets the shadow spawn with max energy so that you dont waist time trying to find energy for it, i rarely use shadow but i use it when im being swarmed... shadow is a good tank. my problem is modding his claws... sevvy and his shadow i am good with
I just started back playing this week after years and I’m using this guy. Does anyone know how to get shadow haze? Chose the red veil as my syndicate and apparently the syndicate I need to use to get it is the exact opposite of the one I have
Or if we hold the corresponding button while piloting sevagoth the shadow does its ability thats tied to that buttonand then goes away again, that we still have its presence if you decide to helminth his 4 off
The whole video was satire, I'm not really a Grendel Main. My chat & DE crowned me as one, so, I guess at-least I'm not self-proclaimed haha. I will hopefully be getting back around to him in a video as I'm trying to upload my Warframe builds lately, just takes time.
I like sevagoth to have more armor bc it is very low so he hus just squishy target for sp content when thier is large crowds of enemies. I alos like sevagoth to be able tohave better enrgy drain bc he uses iy up alot and ao it jas hard to keeep drom his energy drom going to 0 going solo, without help from a teamate helping me keep my energy up.think that is all i can think of.
Which passive needs a rework? And yes, the self revive in comparison to what options are available with the idea of self reviving is good as they have handled it
@@NoSympathyyCA1 The problem with the self revive is that it doesn't work on Eximus units. So if that's all that's around when you die, you're out of luck. If it didn't only use the ability, but you could get the kills with the claws, it would be much better.
@@Orosian5 I still don't see how this isn't a good passive. It's not going to be great like Nidus because that already exists. And anything past the idea of Nidus would be mental in terms of strength. So, using my words carefully, I'm doubling down with Sevagoths Passive is good. There is no overhyping it but compare it to the likes of Rhino or Oberon passives and you understand why I use the word good. No complaints from me personally
The ignorance is way too loud... The Reap Augument is ass cheeks since the other specters do not chase, track or do anything... You would think DE would have Reap actually self target and track enemies instead of a bot shadow tracking to enemies when you do not get any more benefits for the shadow harassing a target that's practically already dead. All of those shadows should be auto targeting everything not targeted haunting enemies... The argument would then be viable.
