@18:00 So it's fine for words that offend others, even if only a little bit hurty, to be banned. Unless it's older people that find it offensive, then it doesn't matter. The people policing language like this need to give their heads a wobble.
There was an article in the press in the UK where an older gay man talked about how the word "queer" is very triggering for his generation as it was a slur when they were growing up. Some Millennials in the comments slagged him off, told him that word doesn't mean the same thing today and he should move on. Its so outrageous. If younger generations find something "traumatic" they expect the world to revolve around their needs but if an older person asks for a little sensitivity they get shouted down.
