This stage is beatable but the difficulty is on the moronic level, does the developer never check their player base complaint or what.

It’s different my crossbow man already has half health and my mage died even after following you exact footsteps
Its likely you used the wrong skills. I just did the same thing and it worked. It cold also be you didn't get enough crits.
They totally failed the difficulty of this stage.Plus the summon and others things are totally stupid. If they do kit change router (and they wont, because they are greedy) they will ruin the game

Episode IV is very hard
you can do it try again :)
