Im late asf to this comment but i think its less the fact he no longer has GF to protect him (hes dealt with previous way worse threats in this Mix series by himself), its more the fact she was murdered right in front of him. I think its less cowardice, and just more being distraught

Honestly, here are the songs I could see being made in Fazbear Frights/FNaF Mix:
Powerdown (or any MX Song): I mean, MX as Freddy Fazbear himself would be extremely fitting, all things considered, with "Lucas" being the Night Guard. Plus, I mean, "Powerdown" fits what happens when you run out of power in FNaF 1.
D-Side Cycles:
First of all, this wouldn't actually feature FNaF at all, just some of Scott's other works. I know Marco Antonio already did this, but this will be my take.

I love how Faker Foxy’s true form is slightly translucent, showing the endoskeleton.
Also his fake form has 2 hands but his true form has a hook on his endoskeleton implying his false form original had a hook to better imitate the character he was pretending to be but he for whatever reason altered the form to hide the hook and the endoskeleton is the only remnants of that change

Yknow, I was trying to figure out what the hell this guy (girl?) was based on, and Faz-goo didnt even cross my mind. (Probably cause I havent really read any of the books.)
Faz-goo probably makes more sense than the mimic when it comes to changing height like the transformation. The mimic is more of a robot that uses costumes and props to disguise itself (I think). Meanwhile, faz-goo can stretch and shapeshift.
I actually like to see how the 'black suns' put their twist on faker characters, the thrill of how each transformation is pulled off makes it even better, and leaves you eager to watch what they turn into, and how would the song perform later on.
For this one, I really like how the environment alters, as it clearly shows it's something far worse than a decaying background: *the entire place is freaking alive.*
And the twist at the end does also add to the amazement Lost Echoes is capable of pulling off.
Although, I'd say the transformation wasn't personally as impressive for me.
Sure, the sequence is detailed and all, but it does remain lackluster on what the sounds could have added to the shapeshift. Maybe some twitches and snaps here and there while the sound ramped up into that one 'bite'.
But overall, great show!
(But sorry if you see me as picky, i like to analyze these sometimes.)

the Fake design here really does look like a facade, it looks too fluid and not robotic enough, AND WHEN IT SWITCHES OH THAT SWITCH SENDS SHIVERS DOWN MY SPINE!
and the music SLAPS HARD, this was 100% worth the wait!
And he forgot to give his fake form a hook, he looks less like a living mascot animtronic and more like a bootleg toy scaled up to the scale of a mascot

BF is basically dead in this situation. The “exit” is literally just a fake door painted on the wall meaning the only way that he can escape Faz goo Foxy is his Girlfriend and her demonic powers. However unfortunately halfway through lost echoes she melted like one of those SpongeBob ice creams you get from the ice cream truck. The only way he can really get out of this situation is dying. Either by one of the mouth walls or by Faz goo Foxy or maybe even the other mascots if they do exist. I don’t really know the lore so it could just be Foxy. Either way BF is screwed

Here is my d side concepts for these songs.
The only difference for the background is that it’s a different color and the paper pals are there. The faker version of withered foxy stays the same (they become a cowboy). They play a banjo instead of an accordion. Gf does not exist in this version of lure. Bf gets replaced by toy Freddy, toy Bonnie, and balloon boy.
Here’s my concept for lost echoes
I don’t have anything for the background.The lost echos version of foxy is a fusion between them and the mangle. The missing posters are replaced by having the ghost kids appear though out the song. Instead of gf melting toy Freddy and toy Bonnie get killed.
