Personally I'd like a happy ending, but on the other hand its gotta auck for our character. Imagine being accused of cheating even though nothing ever happened, then get into a car accident, then lastly on top of everything, you are paralyzed. Its such conflicting feelings. I understand why forgiveness is the right path cuz the girlfriend was tricked and yada yada, but then we who did nothing wrong are the ones who got accused then paralyzed. We were innocent in all of this yet we got the short straw. And the resentment and hurt has to be strong.

Maybe the listener was a dancer like ballet or figure skater and it wasn't just a dream or career the listener was fulfilling their dead parents' one and only dying wish and stuff and a stupid argument killed everything. Will the listener live and blame their girlfriend like shout scream and blame their girlfriend that because of her and only her their leg got amputed, they start living together and their girlfriend takes the role of their caretaker. But the problem is the listener absolutely starts hating their girlfriend couldn't tolerate being cared or touched by her, cause PTSD but couldn't afford another care giver, and ends up berating their girlfriend a lot blaming her for every single small things Their girlfriend tolerates the blame, guilt, shouting, despair from the listener every single day telling her how much they hate her for taking their dream away, until she snaps. The listener's girlfriend snaps and says 'I apologized for everything, do you really think I have it easy the guilt is eating me from within or something along the lines like saying the listener isn't the only one suffering, so what it was a stupid dream that the listener can't dance, it wasn't the end of the world or something they can find another dream, saying she was also trying to do her best and support the listener except the listener was only spewing hatred", and rhe girlfriend also made it a bit light of what the listener's dream actually meant. Upon hearing what their girlfriend said the listener become mute from the shock, and falls from their wheelchair unable to express anything just like a doll. Their girlfriend upon realising what she said runs to pick them up and starts apologising again and again saying that she didn't mean to say that it was just too much guilt and stress to bear and couldn't handle how much the listener hated her it was just a stupid retaliation. Upon realising that the listener had become mute, what will the girlfriend do? Will the girlfriend actually learn what the listener's dream actually meant for them how precious it was? Maybe they both will undergo therapy somehow the listener's old friend comes across both of them cause the friend was actually the assigned therapist after doctors recommendation when they became emotionally shut off. The therapist was a childhood friend and then the listener's girlfriend learns the meaning behind their dream. They try everything to bring the listener back to normal but nothing works, the girlfriend begs the therapist that there must be some way anyway. The therapist/childhood friend suggests the one dangerous method of recovery.Taking the therapist's advice the girlfriend tries a dangerous recovery method manages to shock the listener back to their emotions like not electrical shock therapy but an emotional shock therapy, and the listener gets their emotions back, gets a new robotic leg and learns to walk again. Maybe due to advanced mechanics they are able to dance or skate again maybe can't win Olympics but a step towards regaining the lost dream and falls in love with someone else and the girlfriend lets the listener go thinking this was the best The end.
