Yeah its mainly gossip, in season 5 we were introduced to Belasko who claimed that he was a fan of Scott, because he took down an alpha pack. My guess Belasko's motive was to take his power, and make a name for himself that would be " The hybrid monster that managed to steal the power of a true alpha". The same goes for Theo when he heard of a true alpha prompting him to be a part of an unbeatable army which consists of Alpha Scott, a kitsune, and even Stiles when Theo pissed him off telling him he has some residual Nogitsune left on him that he needs to tap into
Honestly I decided back in 2013 or 2014 to believe that there’s some type of supernatural news outlet we just don’t know about
There was also the fight in the abandoned building where Scott was able to stop a augmented alpha Ennis and his eyes glowed red for a split second.
"augmented" is meaningless in this context.
@@TeenWolfNews still Scott as a Beta showed potential in that fight. When he stopped Ennis (a alpha with more strength and experience then even Derek) even Duecalion seemed to be impressed/surprised
It wasn't his fighting skills that attracted Deucalion. It was literally his potential to become an alpha without killing. Morell gives an excellent explanation of what's happening in his head.

The darkness that deaton said would affect the 3 of them in the surrogate sacrifice, it wasn't really a darkness for the rest of their lives though was it? Because it took Scott a couple days to be back to normal and in the following seasons there weren't really anymore times when "the darkness" affected him at all
I don't know, Scott wasn't over his fear of becoming a monster for months after. Allison didn't live long enough to know really.
@@TeenWolfNews I don't think that the fear of becoming a monster was the darkness in season 4... I think that it was the 2 episodes where he was having hallucinations and the other stuff... I think that manifested itself into the fear in season 4
But saying that season 4 and him almost going out of control may have been the "darkness" deaton mentioned cant be. Look at season 5 and 6, he wasn't sprialling out of control at any point in those ones. So for me I believe that "darkness" to be that door being opened into their minds.
@@mathiasgopaul3274 Scott's situation in Season 5 was due to Theo damaging the pack dynamic and Scott feeling helpless to stop it. It was the season 4 situation that actually got him over his fears from Season 3. The "darkness" isn't some huge debilitating thing that crippled them forever. It's a loss of innocence more than anything else. An understanding of the potential darkness in all of us.

🤣😂 you're describing chemo signals. The werewolves can certainly smell emotions and illness but I don't think that extends to future events. Also that wouldn't explain why Deucalion bothered.
This series has so many influennces from anime. This this about Scott being a true alpha is like Son Goku becoming the Super Saiyajin.

Hey Paul, could The Darach control animals because it was seen on three separate occasions we saw animals surrounding the person she was about to take(Deaton, Emily and Dr Hillyard). Now my question is, could she actually control them or was that part of an illusion
Most of that was illusion but she did cause birds to sacrifice themselves 10 years ago. It helped heal her the first time. The second time, her messing with the telluric currents caused general mayhem among animals.

It wasn’t an illusion it’s just that her power threw those animals in a flux just like like a powerful storm would do to animals

I’m season 5 ep 20 how was Scott and Liam able to touch the pike/cane if it was made with mountain ash and wolfsbane
Only the spear tip was steel forged with wolfsbane and mountain ash. Marcel (The Surgeon) turned that steel into a sword hidden in his cane. The hilt of the sword could be handled by anyone.

what apocalypse? This show didn't deal in apocalypses. He was he only chaotic force present in Season 1 and his supervillain team up with Kate in Season 4 was only a side show up until the Benefactor program was turned off. Not an apocalypse in sight.

Life is literally high school. If something unusual or cool happens everyone will hear about it and the truth will quick turn into exaggeration and from there into unfounded rumor based on what was once a true story. The only way to get to the truth is to go and check for yourself.

@@orlandoduarte4213 you're suggesting that nobody but those in the warehouse were aware of what happened. You have to realize how embedded Gerard and his organization was into Beacon Hills. He was principal of the high school. His disappearance would be noticed and remarked upon. Hunters and supernaturals alike would know who he was and wonder about his sudden absence. People are going to talk and what facts they can't find, they'll make up. It would be simple, once he arrives in town, for Deucalion to get all the details.

Yeah but who told the other supernaturals about all those incidents?, clearly none of the kids know any werewolves outside the group,,, was it the vet who passed on all that information? If so then why? Was he the actual villain to the entire show? Because who ever started each rumor only put the group in danger each time
Things happen, people talk about things happening. That's how life works. None of this happens in a vacuum.
@@TeenWolfNews but it had to have either been Derek or the vet because the group does not talk about what happens outside the group because they are keeping the supernatural world a secret and for the longest time, they don’t know anyone outside their immediate group who are within the supernatural world to gossip with… that’s assuming that there isn’t someone following them just to keep tabs
You're forgetting that there were a number of animal attacks reported in the newspaper. Including a surveillance photo of Peter all wolfed out at the Video 2*C store. Any supernatural reading the accounts could put two and two together - insane werewolf killing a bunch of people. Then suddenly the attacks stop and a woman is reported dead at the Hale House and she's the one that killed all the Hale's and her co-conspirators are the one's killed by "animals". Two and two equals revenge killings by a monster wolf who is probably a Hale.
You're also forgetting that the kanima murders were public knowledge as well. While I doubt "lizard man" made into the paper, those folks at Jungle definitely spread what they saw. It didn't take much reading between the lines for those in the know.
As for Gerard's fate - he had an entire team of hunters who would have known and gossiped about what went down. None of these people live in a bubble - the world still exists outside what we're shown.

No. He's fake and stole from fakes.
The only person who can steal a true alpha's spark and become a (regular) alpha is a beta of the true alphas own making. Which is why Theo turned Liam against Scott thinking He would then be able to kill Liam and take the alpha spark.
@BabyTurbzzWrldd yeah it is and if Theo was a true werewolf he'd be able to steal the alpha spark once Liam killed Scott but but a chimera it would've failed
That's actually kind of exactly how it works. Liam or Hayden are the only living people who could steal Scott's spark. Once one of them steals or inherits it - anyone could likely take it from them.

Smell is the key to sensing who might be a werewolf. More experienced werewolves can completely alter their smell to hide.

If they can't mask it. Of course, they'd have to be familiar with what they're smelling to know what it was. I mean, the kanima had no perceived smell if I remember right. It wasn't hiding it, kanima just don't smell like anything even to a werewolf. Scott wouldn't have recognized Corey's scent because what does a ghost rider chimera smell like? He'd never met one.

What do you mean? Gerard has followers. They're going to ask about what happened to him or he's going to seek them out for help after season 2. Kate's murder was front page news (although reported as something else) and that creates questions. Public press reports of "animal attacks" read by supernaturals would be clearly understood as the work of one of them. There were actual surveillance photos of Peter at one of the murder scenes, that definitely made the rounds. None of this stuff is happening in a vacuum. The only way to keep a secret between two people is if one of them is dead. To the outside observer there was a monster running around killing people. Then there wasn't. A group of heavily armed citizens rolled into town for a funeral and stayed for a few weeks but something caused them to quit Beacon Hills. These things spread faster than and STD on prom night.
