Yes. I believe Simon composed the songs first before he created XG. I think he chose the girls based on the type of music he wanted to produce which is hiphop heavy. That's why he came up with 4 rappers and 3 vocals.
So for context and to those u been to the concert. Harvey is probably a whole different level when it comes to her energy. Start to finish she gives the same intense energy like she does not ever get tired. She is so animated from start to finish.

Totally get that, we'd rather listen to good audio on a first listen than have lyrics/line distribution. We used to react to the color coded lyrics but found we enjoy better sound quality.
