I recently fell badly on a hack, that was very similar - pretty chaotic and horses unsure and then went a bit manic. Seeing your confidence and ability to take the lead and reset really helps me.
I hpe you are ok since your fall I have also had a bad fall but was yesterday since I was cantering but the horse sped up ( I think it slipped) and I fell as well as the horse my arm must have hit the fence or pole and I now have a couple of fractions, chiped bone and separated joints which can lead to ligament damage 😢
I love watching your family hacks. Harlen is really getting to be a confident rider as well. I love when you all have a "pony jam" on the trail when the horses are not sure if they want to go further. Eventually, one of you gets it going again, and that must be so fun for you to do. Dandy did a great job on the trail. What a beautiful bay Connemara pony. I don't remember seeing Chelsea ride Popcorn before, and that was special too. I love Popcorn and all your ponies. We used to do a whole yard hack on Boxing Day every year which was about 15-25 horses plus dogs and walkers. We’d stop at a pub and all the kids would get left outside with the horses whilst the adults went inside and had a drink and then everyone would basically jog back to the yard. One year we went through a huge puddle and all the poor people walking were literally thigh deep in water getting splashed by horses

Loved this hilarious.... The first hack my friend and i had on our ponies at our new barn (it was five minutes from the pacific ocean) was a disaster😂. They were both very very young and had never been to the ocean. It was all good until two people on bikes came by and one got off. Neither horae had seen people get off a bike before and panicked.....mine took off down the beach and it took a few minutes to get him to stop... He was very apologetic ....i turn around to see my friend and she is begging the other bike rider to stay on their bike 😂...she gets off and walks to where I am and we go back to the barn.. In hindsight we should have brought an older calmer horse with us, both our horses were Arabs... But we didn't die 😂and we learned

Hi what a fun video I love your family n horses n rocket so much my riding days been over for yrs now as I'm to big for my pony and got ill health he's 30 now but still go strong I bought his mum n jack was a surprised foal I also have a Shetland whom is such a cheeky character like cloudy 🐎🦄
Hahah I would love to go on a hack with you guys I feel like it would be so entertaining and never get boring (not that hacks are cause horses are so much fun) I once went on a hack with my mum and my horse spooked at a goanna in a tree and my horse jumped straight up and to the side while in the air and then bolted about 400 metres it was sooo scary because it was my first hack on her cause she was new and I was really nervous but we have improved so much since then and I’m now going on rides alone and mustering cows and having great fun ❤ love the channel also dandy has definitely found a wonderful new home and he’s soooo gorgeous and really is that XL rolo keep up the great work ❤❤

Yes, getting them to move their feet can help. That way they have to stop backing up and hader for them to rear.
