  • Hey everyone, hope you all are doing well! Back today with a video I made for myself in the hopes of maybe adding a new mic to my setup. Today I'm taking a look at the Neat Mics King Bee II and comparing it to my Shure SM7B in terms of noise rejection and over all sound quality.

very good review. I like how you flatlined the SM7B which still sounded good. At first I didnt like the King Bee II but once you moved it further away and I jumped between SM7B and King Bee II I tended to like the King Bee II more. For the price that isnt bad. And you are right most people wont have a sound treated room.

It sounds really good! has great mids and the low end seems a bit heavy but in a good way! That mic really is a tank! Its def a great mic for 150 bucks!

Like you I also started with the Neewer NW-700 and recently switched to the behringer XM8500 so that's kinda funny. Good review though 👍.

the xm8500 is such an amazing mic for the price. I truly don't know how they can sell them for $20-$30 and still make a profit haha
      thanks for watching!

What do you recommend for a desk mic stand and/or mic arm to support this heavy mic? I just bought it and going through the set up process

This is a mic arm that I’ve used for the last couple of years. It’s built like a tank!
