My father's family was from there, for generations. My father, my mother, and my brother rest there together in a small family plot just outside of town. The whole surviving family--three generations---had a reunion there the summer before the pandemic, not having a clue that it would probably be the last time we all would gather. It was so beautiful. One of the loveliest places you can imagine.

Thanks, Adam - they were major industries and employers in Belfast for decades. Lots of chickens and sardines were processed by hardworking people. Chickens were grown locally by many farmers, sardines, well... you know. Sorry I didn't get to this for a while! Russ Lloyd

Used to live in belfast a good town but a little town not much to do or eat but its ok but this makes it seem like we are a boat yard and thats all which is not true we are just a small town like any other
