You can't code youtube shortcuts, it just takes you X tenths through the video when you press it.
I believe he said it to the stream viewers so that the chat would fill with 1's (meaning they agree with him). The fact that it takes you to that moment when you actually press 1 in the youtube video is just a really funny coincidence.

Melee is a competitive game, so OF COURSE there's gonna be trash talk! Specially coming from HMW's generation this community was BUILT on trash talk. That's what made this game grow. The trash talk made you want to get better, it made people practice. Does this mean everyone like has to trash talk or that it's "mandatory"? No of course not. But if you're going to complain about someone who does then seriously get a grip. HMW's is also loved throughout the entire smash community, I've hung out and streamed with him he's awesome, so how does someone even get that reputation if they were actually a dick?
