What about the Home Office tweet labelling those who have been arrested but not yet tried for their part in the riots, whether physically or by way of encouragement, as criminals who will face the full force of the law. Unless the HO knows that they have previous convictions, they are not criminals unless and until convicted. And unless those previous convictions are of a similar nature to rioting etc. the courts are unlikely to allow the jury to consider them as bad character evidence. Lee Anderson is suggesting that the Home Office may be either prejudicing future trials or worse, in contempt of court. Another example of control freakery by the left.
