Mom so gentle...and prep water so it is nice and warm. And Doo is incredibly cooperative. What a lucky Doo....spalike moment...complete with massage and warm air dry. This is a family that really loves their Doo.
I have watched many many families give baths. Even some of my favorites do this. Alot pour the water right on top of their babies heads. Thus the water is all down the front of their faces. Alot of the younger ones like it. Doo's mom makes sure not to have all of the water poured quickly down his face. Even though it is easier for her to rinse him by pouring the water out right on top of his head, Doo doesn't like it so she takes the time to do it the way it is comfortable and relaxing to Doo.💛 This is just one more thing that is done with a great deal of love!!❤
If only she wouldn't scrub him over and over for more than 5 minutes just to make the video long enough to make money. She does something like that in every video. Longer videos pay more.
Christine Burns and she protects his ears with her hands covering them when she puts the water over his head. I have seen some severely rough bathing of little monkeys that are horrible and the babies are traumatized. Not this little guy who is so relaxed and calm.

Finally, someone who, in my opinion, should make a video on how to properly bathe a baby monkey. I have often asked why do people do all that splashing with their hand when wetting down or rinsing a baby monkey. Then they use God only knows what type of shampoo and suds them down from head to toe, which is great, but is it really necessary to get so obsessed with washing the baby's face with loads of soap and getting alot of it in the baby's eyes, then when it comes time for rinsing here comes the hand splashing, especially disturbing is when an adoptive monkey parent is splashing so much water in the baby's face it must make them feel like they are drowning. How relaxing is that. I feel that the way Doo's mommy bathes him is 💯 percent perfect. I know that sometimes she lets Doo lounge in the tub of comfy warm water, and no matter how old Doo gets every year, his mom always takes the time to make sure that he has a warm bath. She also uses a container to wet him down and to rinse him off so that water is going exactly where needed, and she never splashes him in the face. Maybe all this kindness it was makes Doo trust his mommy so much that bath time is actually a joyful and relaxing event and the reason that Baby Monkey Doo is so well behaved. I like to think of it as mutual respect. Lastly, Doo's mommy has incorporated using a blow dryer to get him dried fast. Then it is time for Pjs and a bottle of milk. I'm no primate expert, but using common sense would make it seem that these simple steps for a bath would be perfect.
