Thank you. The Mojo 2 is among the few audiophile devices which I consider to be far more than a merely incremental upgrade to my system. And I speak from 40 years of experience with HiFi. Yes, it is that good, and for the price its cost-effectiveness is astonishing. And as you discovered, partnered with the Topping L30ii or similar, and you have a sublime combo for a mere £130 more.
@@PartySpock I’m fully used to the UI and I like it! The sound is amazing, and even better with an external amp! Nothing else I tried matches quite the level of musical engagement I get from the Mojo 2!
Power delivery from mains has always been superior in terms of output, however, it must be noted that a battery provides the cleanest signal due to its isolation in a signal path. Actually bought the Mojo 2 because of your enthusiasm for the sound quality. One can’t deny our emotional connection to music and it seems that the Mojo 2 provides that in droves 🥰
I got the Chord Mojo 2 a few months ago. I've had several daca before, including Dragonfly red, Cayin ru6, from FiiO... The Chord Mojo 2 has had rhe biggest agfevt across all my IEMs akd headphones. It's brilliant! I wasn't that wow'd by my Truth Ear Hexas or Sennheiser IE600 until I used them with the Chord which added depth, musicality and more.
Also, a detail most people don’t seem to “click with” is that, running power and audio signal separately, is advantageous to SNR, via the micro USB and USB C.
Hi, the Mojo 2 is far more customisable. The Gryphon bass feature is pretty special though. I think it uses an analogue circuit to improve the bass and it feels very natural. Not as strong of an effect as the Hip Dac as far as I can remember. IFi's xBass is well known for it's quality. The Mojo 2 sounds better all around, and it's a lot more adjustable, including the bass. Bass and power wise the gryphon might have a slight edge.
Already have and indeed VERY special!! Powers all nanner of IEMs to full potential. Even planar. Even work amazing with low imedance full size HP like Verum2 ( 8 ohms). This may very well be my last SS Dac. The expense to get a very marginal improvement AND EQ are extreme (3 to 4x). I was at Headfi NY and my phone and Mojo2 combo were giving $2k+ DAPs the sweats!!! I also have an IFI Signature Pro for BIG HP. But dont use nearly as much as Mojo...
The Mojo 2 is a very sweet sounding device. My only regret is not having got sooner. It really added layers to my music like nothing prior. For full cans I still think it works best with an amp. The sound, especially the bass gets tighter and cleaner with an amp. I got it paired to an Aune S17 amp and I am getting all that Mojo 2 sound with steroids :)
Good question. I have a big desktop amp, an Aune S17 and that needs to warm up to sound best. With the Mojo 2 can’t say that I notice a meaningful difference :)
@@jaroslavfricek7772 well that’s my setup and sounds lovely! It’s like having that Mojo2 sound with more punch, openness and drive. I preferred it over the topping D70pro octo.
I'm sorry, but I can't help you with that as I need more information about the Hiby FC6. What I do know is that the Mojo 2 does not use an off-the-shelf DAC chip; instead, it performs the digital-to-analogue conversion using a dedicated bespoke circuit. I would be surprised if anything using an off-the-shelf DAC chip would sound like the Mojo 2.

Thanks for your comment. The Mojo 2 is a tremendous piece of audio engineering and a must-have for discerning audio aficionados!
The colors are simple . Let your ears do the rest. Very good device . Better than devices as some as expensive at 1000 euro,sThank you.👍

Remarkable device. IE600 sounds amazing through it!

Yes very well engineering in that sense too
And can you compare using the Xbass on the Gryhon while using the DSP/EQ on the Mojo 2? Is the Mojo 2 able to compensate?

Hi, can this drive your HD6XX phones? I'm mostly an iem person but I want to know its capability.

I pair this tiny with valve amp (cayin 55 kt88) and it sounds fantastic !!! with both phone (meze 109pro) and stereo system (kef ls50 meta)
with your iems exclusively is there a very noticeable difference between all these dacs (including the apple dongle) ? thanks
Yes! Unquestionably! If you have good IEMs you’ll notice the difference
Thank you❗️👍Is it true that it takes around 30min for the Mojo 2 to warm up and sound good ❓

Iam thinking about Aune S17 pro, actually wonder how would it sound with Mojo 2 as a dac..😊

Some people said that using IEM, Mojo 2 sounds very similar to Hiby FC6?

@@SirMesko FC6 is an R2R DAC, I think it wouldnt use a chip for the conversion process. But yes, Mojo uses a specialised IP for the process, too.
@@eboboboy that’s interesting I have to investigate now! Thanks for the insight

I’m glad you found your DAC/AMP! I know the Mojo 2 is horrendous money in the US
The chord is way better but it comes down to budget (I've got both). Better than the Fiio is the Onix Alpha for around $100.
