“How can you kill someone without killing them?”
I felt so sorry for every character in KS. I felt sorry for Bum, Sangwoo. Sangwoo because obviously he has a mental illness from his traumatic past, and he became a killer. Poor Bum reminded him of his mom, which is why he let Bum stick around in the first place. It was such a sad story.

In 1973 I began my teacher training. This song was the background to my studies, played over and over as I read, took notes and wrote essays. It followed me into my career, and now, 46 years later, I'm still listening to it in my retirement....

I started reading Killing Stalking yesterday and have finished it today. I have been feeling really depressed and honestly all the hate comments directed towards Sangwoo in each and every chapter SINCE the prologue does not help the amount of anxiety I am feeling right now. The fact that hurt me the most in the end was that when Bum started to hallucinate Sangwoo... I felt his pain and knew that it would hurt more to know that Sangwoo was dead so he just imagined Sangwoo left him for some woman. I don't blame Sangwoo for anything I only blame him for not telling Bum everything, because I strongly believe that it would be totally different if he would've. The one person I blame, hate, resent, despise and loathe is his mother... Screwed up her own son's life till the very fvcking end... and it hurt that her curse came true. He died a horrible death just as he was about to find what real love means 😔😔😔

@@MraDigims100 - Consider this as Pandora's Box. A true Christian is Pandora in the myth and she discovered hope. Greed, entitlement and selfishness destroyed a once great nation. Substitute fire with technology and you will see the decline of mankind when people got selfish. Refer to the term "Solid State electronics". Pure selfishness destroyed mankind. This is where Watergate came into plat. Money talks, bullshit walks destroyed any hope in recovery of redeemable values that could still be recovered by our own government. People can now easily see how pure evil selfishness is. The reason selfishness so evil if they don't put the Lord first or the people who means the most to them. The answer that you are sneaking is lack of caring about anything else but themselves. The other people around you just gets in the way. It was a very dire warning which softly killed off all hope.
Where are peoples Loyalties lay is the the eternal question? There are only two choice in life. God or the devil. Selfish people would rather follow the devil. Hope reveals its head at the end of the myth Pandora Box and not everybody is qualified to have what is entitled to the people who it actually belongs to. Even hope is tossed under the bus at the end. Religion is the main problem. It even killed Jesus at the cross. Hope is based on a person's heart. Some people would rather exploit the only hope they would ever have, and thought that they could get away with it. Hope brings a better way, it was too easy to be exploited under somebody else's terms. Look around. Where is the hope? Sold at the highest dollar.
This song leaves you with a dire warning. You did it to yourself, America. Selfishness is not a marketing tool. It takes away all hope.
Next question - Why was mankind set up for failure over a little hope?

This song became a mega hit seller for Roberta Flack, she sang it live at a Marvin Gaye concert in 1972 & the audience went wild, this was a year before she even recorded & then released it in 1973, Marvin Gaye then advised her saying 'Baby, don't ever do that song again live until you record it.'

Mila Valdez There’s controversy on who wrote the song. But I believe it was written by a young 18 year old singer named Lori Lieberman. Then producers Fox and Gamble asked her to sing it and recorded it as part of a whole album and didn’t give credit to Ms. Lieberman. The man that Lori refers to in this song is Don McLean, the writer of American Pie, as she went to see him perform in a concert in LA. I love Lori’s original version.

I was just thirteen years old when this song came out. I was a teen struggling with being an introvert and socially awkward. To say I was a young teen struggling with depression would be true. One thing that I had and enjoyed was a small transistor radio. My family lived one hundred fifty miles from Chicago, home of WLS A.M. radio station. In the day WLS played all the top 40 hits of the day, and I remember one rainy spring Saturday afternoon, sitting in my bedroom, the windows open, and listening to WLS.
That day was memorable to me and comes back to me as if it were yesterday. It was this song that burned that into my memory. It lifted me. It helped me to have a somewhat romantic view of the world. Maybe something very needed today. Even now today, as I approach the age of sixty-three, to hear Roberta sing this song brings back the memory and ALL that I was feeling. It's something very powerful and spiritual when a song can do that, and I'm grateful. I survived and grew and learned about love and dedication, and in part because of powerful songs like this one.
    Thank You so much Roberta.....

It was written by a woman who had just seen Don McLean perform in the club "The troubadour". You don't see much of this any more. Fantastic voice, beautiful backing vocals, superb bassist and drummer and keyboard player. That's why this can't be reproduced any more. You need to have this kind of collective to make the whole. As soon as you click track it, use sampled drums and bass etc. you kill it. This has the freedom for the singer to do what she does best and the musicians are all of the highest standard you could hope for. Beautiful. Listen back and just try to isolate the bass playing, it's sublime.

Just Wormchild I was the opposite of hyperventilating, I couldn’t even breathe when I was crying. I didn’t read killing stalking on lezhin so before I knew the music was on TH-cam I didn’t have music for when I first read it. I didn’t have my cat for comfort. He abandons me when I need him most ;(
