Both muslims and jews can eat food that wasn¨t prepared in accordance with their rules (such as from ritually tortured animals), so it should not be a problem and at least the ration would actually contain proper nutrients.

They gave you matches in the MRE to heat up the food. Safer for people who don't read and never seen an MRE Heater... All you needed to do was to drop the packets into a pot of boiling water for 4-5 minutes.

I bought a case of 10 2019 HDR's from Amazon for $45 delivered. Our two kids love to unpack these and eat them while camping. Some use bring a can of vienna sausages or spam for meat. A good deal for emergencies.

The meal was designed for any type of alien- legal, illegal, extraterrestrial, etc. Some aliens don't like to eat meat or dead animals. They just kill 'em for sport.
That is a ton of food! Judging by the packaging that I saw, it appears to be a civilian MRE manufacturer. While (in my experience) the shelf life of these is not as long, but if they generally package more food like this one does, I'd definitely be a player on some of them.

If you're not familiar, just type in something like "survival food" or purchase MRE's and you'll have a number of websites pop up where you can order from. Some sites will sell them as components too, so if maybe you just want to try an entree, you can order that instead of the entire meal.
It makes sense what food they’ve got in them sugars in the biscuits...figs to keep your digestive system working normally and various fats and protein. I guess after Wars disasters etc it’s what the body needs to keep functioning

I have 3 boxes of emergency food supply kits for our hurricane supply - high in nutrition, low in sodium. Very good. I am not a prepper but if I had to seriously stock up, would buy a lot more of these. Don't take up much space.

About 30 years ago, my ex-husband was in the Army Reserves and went to a base in Wisconsin. They gave the guys MRE's to eat and one had Ham in it. The guys that had Ham got food poisoning. So please don't eat any old MRE's with Ham. They may be bad. Guess Ham doesn't keep well. Other MRE's I have had were really good. I would take a packet like that a day from my government to eat ! That's a lot more than I eat in a day! Wow!! I am on Disability, so they can send me those for my food!! I'd save the good ones for last!
Good vid, but you hold each item up for way too long. They are really hard to see on camera anyway. Plus I'd heat that stuff up. Maybe the people who receive these at least have fires and something to warm good in. Maybe I'm totally wrong and they don't. I honestly can't eat cold food. If it's freshly made and cools off too much before I get to it. I warm it up.

Why would they put the matches in with the food? Whoever is in charge of Packaging these rations has no sense. You don't put none food with food. Even in the grocery store they put your toilet cleaner and dish soap in a separate bag and your bread and milk and fruit in another. They need to rethink this Packaging even if the matches have to be packaged separately. I do not at all believe they belong in and around in next to food.Oh, and the cold stew and dry cookies.Nothing to drink. Its all CRAP. 💩😒

it’s so that way people of all religions can eat the food, since a lot of eastern religions include a vegetarian diet.
The ration was designed to apply to multiple cultures and religious diets I believe
