Thoroughly enjoyed I never cared for Scott Caan’s acting. Also his character’s behavior/role was completely unbelievable. A PO , or detective would never have been so insubordinate to his new boss. THE guy never stopped talking!
I lived in Honolulu when the original 5-O was filmed. In fact I lived across from where McGarrett turned to look at the camera. Since I don't live there any more It was always fun to see the places I use to love and I also enjoyed the new version and very sorry to see it go. Aloha All!

Jo Harper I think they got renewed for season 11 nut Alex O'Loughlin injured his back during an earlier season and he said he was suffering from that and he could not do another season; therefore, instead of continuing without Steve or recasting they decided to end it with season 10. This is what I read online why CBS ended the show which being from Hawaii I was really sad too because I love the show as well.
Nothing can be done when the lead actor said " I quit ", since the face of the show leaving the show itself. Replacing him with someone else usually lead to a disaster.

The original Hawaii Five-O was one of the shows that inspired me to get into Law enforcement. I always told myself that when I got older I was going to move to Hawaii and live in The ILikai Hotel. I lived all of those dreams. I had a career in law enforcement "On the Mainland", moved to Honolulu in 2001 and lived in The ILikai Hotel. I actually opened up a store, The Shipping Shack, in The ILkikai Hotel, while living there. I rode the elevator to and from work every day !
Agreed. I'm fine with Alex and Scott taking a break from this show after 10 years, but the new cast had so much potential, especially with Lincoln who was supposed to take the lead of team after Steve's departure.

Watched the original Hawaii Five O with my late Dad for years. Was excited to see the show come back. It became a staple in my Friday nights. I became a big fan of Alex's and am sad to see this version of Hawaii Five O end.

Unfortunately I never watched the show until the last episodes. I now own all 10 seasons on DVD and still watch it on tv in reruns. Alex was always my favorite as McGarret. I couldn't help but fall in love with Eddie and was so glad Steve adopted him. Mahalo for bringing us a reboot that was better than the first. Yes, I remember the original with Jack Lord. A Hawaii 5-O movie might be nice.

Me too! I was born in Hawaii left when I was 2 years old got adopted when I was 6 years old. The rest is just too much drama to add but yeah I would love to go back and see it. Watched the old old Hawaii 50 show when I was kid living in West Virginia. That and the Don To special that came on during the 70's was the only things that kept me grounded to my heritage.😊

I loved this show. The only disappointment I might have had is that the lady who left to join the human trafficking task force, she didn't get included in the finale but even that was a minor disappointment as what they did with the ending was a great way to end the series. And besides if you are a consistent follower of this show, it seemed obvious to me that they were working their way down to the a finale for a while now. I am old enough to remember the original and although it was good to watch as a youngster, this one was better. I loved Alex in this role. I remember him in a show called Moonlight - anybody remember that one in his bio history? I just love this actor. After Moonlight I didn't think I could enjoy this as it was ....completely different and I was angry when Moonlight ended cause it had so much more they could have done with that script and they ended it ...without an ending actually. But like that show I realized, even if there was no physical injury (I thought it would have been more about Caan - he always walked like he was having problems with his back - and him liking martial arts, that was a COMPLETE surprise to me) any good actor wants to do a variety of parts so that they are not type cast. It's not such a big issue today but at one time it was really hard after playing the same character to get even an offer for anything other than what he had been doing. And this was a very long time for these actors, especially the younger ones to have been in the same spot and expect not to have an issue after this ended. I hope that won't be a problem for this cast as they are all fine actors. I wish them good luck and say THANKS for the great work they did.
So sad 😢 that Hawaii 5 O is leaving our screens. The cast all did so well. My Sunday night will never be the same again. I would like to wish all the cast past and present good luck for the future. X
Fact Meaghan is indeed engaged I think jack popped the question middle of last year during H50 hiatus March-July. She has an engagement ring on her ring finger that you see a lot on her Instagram. She did reply to a fan post throwback earlier this year saying that her and jack are now engaged but was removed later
I do miss the show very very much! But now I watch the Marathon reruns on Ion TV every Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. hopefully, maybe in the near future they will all get together for periodic films on regular TV so their fans can see them and make them happy! LOL!
I saw the original series, and like everyone else I loved McGarrett. Since most reboots are lame I didn't expect anything from this one, but it was a wonderful surprise. It's excellent!

Disappointing because Kono was getting paid unfairly compared to the other characters of different races. The same thing happened with Chin.

So sad 😢 that Hawaii 5 O is leaving our screens. The cast all did so well. My Sunday night will never be the same again. I would like to wish all the cast past and present good luck for the future. X
Fact Meaghan is indeed engaged I think jack popped the question middle of last year during H50 hiatus March-July. She has an engagement ring on her ring finger that you see a lot on her Instagram. She did reply to a fan post throwback earlier this year saying that her and jack are now engaged but was removed later

I do miss the show very very much! But now I watch the Marathon reruns on Ion TV every Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. hopefully, maybe in the near future they will all get together for periodic films on regular TV so their fans can see them and make them happy! LOL!

I saw the original series, and like everyone else I loved McGarrett. Since most reboots are lame I didn't expect anything from this one, but it was a wonderful surprise. It's excellent!
