I will soon be 56 years old and watching some of these great TH-cam animations...wow, takes me back to my childhood when I would literally geek out when I would see that a Godzilla film would be showing on one of our 4 channels lol. It was a treat back then and I would literally be waiting all week for that film. With all respect,I’m pretty sure rodan was never *that* powerful,in both showa movies he’d be on godzilla’s side,not against him so we’d never know,in the heisei era,Rodan was pretty good at fighting but a few hits took him down,final wars is no exception,That rodan literally teamed up with 2 other kaiju against godzilla and still,He lost,as much as it is nice to see rodan have a nice fighting role here,Rodan wasn’t really able to step up to godzilla.

That was a way better use of Rodan than what the movie gave for that scene. I don't even care that it was about to end the same way (before Godzilla blasted Ghidorah, that is), at least he actually put up a fight.

Besides I picked those five because godzilla is the most well-known out all the Toho monsters Mothra and Rodan have been there with him for important parts of the series, king kong is just as well-known as Godzilla, that and he inspired Godzilla's creation, Gamera while not as iconic as Godzilla or King Kong he left his own mark as a Kaiju.
