They made this game the way they USE to make games . Finished before release , everything in the game , the world is alive , no micros . It’s crazy . Hopefully people see this and start making games like this more . I’m tired of micros and games not finished

I think it was kinda meh. The characters are extremely one-dimensional, the cutscenes look like they were from 2016, and the story was not very engaging. I also didn't like how the choices you made almost didn't impact the game at all. It's a great exploration game, and the views and cinematic experience of the game is amazing. But the story and its characters where just mid. I think it has been insanely overhyped by the reviews.

It's not out of nowhere that they are getting the hate. The developers did a lot to help address the concerns of people. But they still did add another billion to Rowling's transphobic efforts.
I like that if you get bored doing any one thing you can open the Quest tab and do a number of other things to change up the game play. Plus you have so many side Character story lines that it never gets dull.
I've got 15 hours into this game in the first 2 days of playing, and it's mind-blowing how good it is, and practically bug-free. The graphics are amazing. The cutscenes are amazing. The voicework is top-tier. Everything is flowing and smooth. The combat has been partly challenging but unique and one you have to play around with. It is very magical look and play-wise. Very odd that every web-post about the game has some obvious JK Rowling controversy explanation included and the game seems to be intentionally catering to gender-freedom in the fact that you can make a character that has either a masculine or feminine face and body, use a male or female voice of varying pitch, and assign your character to a Witch dormitory or a Wizard one, and none of these things have to match the other 2. So you can have a male looking character with a female voice staying in a male-based dormitory with males. Or you could have a female looking character with a female voice staying in that same male dormitory with males. There are Witch and Wizard bathrooms throughout Hogwarts that you can freely roam both of. And in my early part of the game one of the female teachers discusses her wife. I don't know whether this is all just a sign of the times or some sort of social gimmick because the 'outrage' over JK Rowling along with the characters presented in game seem kinda contrived. In any even, the game is absolutely gorgeous and magical in a way that is good or better than most other games I've ever seen so far.
You’ll also meet a trans character named Sirona Ryan. The barmaid at Three Broomsticks. In one encounter she’s mentions a goblin that was “the first to realize she was a witch not a wizard”.
Honestly it’s a shame. If the people hating on the game could get their heads out of their collective asses then they would see a game that is extremely open minded. Especially for being set in the 1800s. These aren’t things they threw in at the end of development. For both the main and side characters they really did quite a bit to be tolerant and considerate.
The game also refers to the player character with they/them pronouns throughout the entire game which, while I’m sure just helped speed up the process by not having the voice actors re-record certain lines, it’s still nice to see

Anyways it seems big changes were made after the idea of this game was sold to WB to provide the budget and allow its publishing. As a dev myself I know for a fact and experience big positive changes like these only happen beginning with a change in command, managerial mostly. You can have a great team of developers and yet provide such a horrible story and a bug mess. A good example is most of the modern Ubisoft games, or Forspoken where the story was intriguing and the setting was very Avengers-like, and yet poor writing made it a big cringe fest, not to mention several bugs and poor optimizations.
Yeah, I love those honking flowers 🙂 The open world is huge. I like to explore on foot, because it's also full of stuff which you'll just miss when flying everywhere - and the floo point network is tight enough so that on-foot exploration won't become a chore.
Lives up to the hype. Hogwarts is just absolutely breathtaking to explore, sometimes I get lost in it and I don’t even care. It’s exactly what you would expect Hogwarts to be like. A labyrinth of wonder and awe.
I paid the extra cost for the 72 hours early access but I've still got just under 24 hours to wait rip. Sad that I've basically been scammed but tbh I'm just so excited to play it.
The spell wheel thing I'm thinking it's gonna be great to use with the Dualsense Edge. assign the paddles to the left and right D-pad to quickly swap between spell wheels......should be cool

YEah the PS5 has some pretty big exclusive stuff. I also heard about some performance issues on PC, not sure but PS5 version sounds like a better option
The quest is exclusive to PS5 for a year so technically you'll be able to play it in a later playthrough. The Felix Felipe potion however is only exclusive to PS5 pre orders.
I'm 42 hours in, lvl 30, and about 50% thru the main story So many side quests and things to do. To think, each house has some adventures the others don't. This game, has FAR exceeded my expectations!
WB Games and their studios are surprisingly good at times. LOTR Shadows of Mordor and War are in the same vein. Not the publisher that immediately comes to mind to release a fantastic, S Tier open world RPG. This is GOTY right out the gate in 2023, and has set the bar pretty high for any other games coming out this year.
I haven't even started my first Charms class yet. Didn't even get introduced to the Dueling Club yet. On the 7th I litterally spent all my time walking EVERYWHERE and just exploring the castle and finding hidden things to collect. Today, I'm doing the same thing. I JUST learned the Levitation Charm(Wingardium Leviosa) today. I'm still exploring and people already beat the game?! I understand the reviewers but if you're a fan like me, I turned off my mini-map and most of the hud, and I'm just walking everywhere.
I think go all the way and you start by recieving your invitation to hogwarts as a young 1st year student. With minimal danger and as you progress through the years of school the danger and tension rises with the threat of the antagonist very much like Harry's story. Except, the danger starts to manifest as you become more adept with magic it becomes known that you are the only decendant of Merlin that is still alive and the only threat to the antagonist (as long as your magical potential is realized in time as you navigate the story and the open world)
I’m on my second play through and I’m almost done 100%ing the game. I think it’s great. With that said, I think adding a couple features would make it amazing. Like a mass delete/buy items feature, quicker fixed camera, new game +, and there was one or two other small things that I can’t think of right now. Other than that it’s an awesome game. The house chests contain the dopest looking robes, for you new people who haven’t played….focus on that bad boy.
I fully agree about the haunted shop sidequest. The most unique and best quest in the game, but it also really felt like they'd put a lot more effort into that quest than the others. It's almost like the devs made it at the very end after utilising everything they'd learned along the way. Sucks that some people will miss it because of exclusivity.
Hello @JorRaptor, does it feel to you like if you don't want to miss out on some side quests, you have to constantly scan the castle and the map around? (or at least at the start of each new season)
The new shop only gives u a 6% increase in sales from unwanted gear...thats it. Mission is fun tho. Ive got to the point where i dont even need money anymore...need more stuff to buy or make it cost money to upgrade gear...idk
I have been playing on the ps5 with fidelity and ray tracing enabled(motion blur, framerate cap and film grain off) and haven't had any issues or load times opening doors. The recent update made the game even smoother with around 30 to 60 fps depending on the area. And i have been playing a lot. received platinum in 66 hours of gametime.
It's worth it for early access alone considering most game would charge nearly £90 I mean if you can wait and arnt bothered about the extras then buy the standard.
If you think you will love this game, then I think it's worth it. The arena is fun (and a great place to get some early levels) and 72 hours early access is nice if you have time to play
This game is so good. The exploration feels a lot like the one in old games: you want to explore and you’re always bound to find something cool or meaningful. Several times I found stuff exploring and then I do a quest that is like “have you checked this out?” And I’m like “OMG I JUST DID THAT”.

@@AmonadaLP there’s really no point. You can still preorder and get bonuses or just buy the game. If it’s not good or you don’t like it then refund. The only way you’ll truly know whether you want to play it is by trying it, no point delaying that time.
My one big complaint is how liner the game is. It makes you feel like you have an option with multiple dialogue choices. But the decisions do not matter up until the very end of the main game. Basically you are driving down a road, there are many different turns along the road however, each turn is blocked until you reach the end. All that being said I really enjoyed the game, I just wish I had more options throughout the playthrough.
People tend to forget the part you own so many mounts, you can fly, roam, and even fight with the graphorn for example, is it just me or is it really appreciated that FINALLY we can have flying mounts in an RPG (even skyrim's flying on a dragon isn't really flying on a dragon lol, same in Tears of the Kingdom) I think I am the only nerd who actually see this as a big plus, even in TW3 Geralt can only ride a horse, in HL, you can literally fly a hipogriff or Thestral shit is a very big point for me
Im hours and hours into the game and im still constantly happening upon vistas or lottle character moments that just make me stop and go ahhhh this is perfectly perfect 🥰.
in 1800s it wasn't problem yet, Riddle isn't born for 100 years. Yes Salazar was a slithery snake (pun inteded) but that is way way in the past. Sorry if it isn't consistent with the books, maybe Slitherin was always looked down upon but I just watched movies and read 30h+ on wikis
@@0NeeN0 its little to do with lore and more to do with how the devs have handled the difference between “Harry Potters world” and “Hogwarts Legacy world” Books is similar. Slytherins were considered an evil house. That’s ok for the books and movies because the protagonist is from Gryffindor & everything revolves around him. But in the game YOU are the protagonist and you can choose any house, I didn’t want that pre-judged Harry’s world impression to be carried over to this game’s world

The whole purpose of creating the house was based on discrimination & condemn rest as enemies of magic. That mentality being taught & passed onto their future generations. A house whose motto might as well be “pure bloods rule the world”. Invented the word Mudblood. Ditched Hogwarts leaving behind a secret monster so one day someone from the house can wipe out all muggle borns from school. Noble house indeed :)
This game has great audio! During the intro quest, I was shooting the wand in the cavern......and wow! did they do a phenom of a job making it sound like i was really shooting a wand into different areas of a cavern.
My only complaint with the game is that some things like combat/potions/skills seem to be lacking in content. Imagine how crazy the game would be if you could dual hand wands for example. Or how awesome it would be to create more unique potions or even gear in this game. Or even your custom spells or more options over the 7 or so that will actually work. Also the combat has a massive gap in difficulty. Once you have access to the room and have access to the last few spells the game becomes relatively easy combat wise. It's still a very fun game but needs a little something to be that great teir rpg like a withcher 3 or something. I definitely have enjoyed myself when playing but kinda miss the difficulty of other games. We need another teir lol

Meh, I'm not too concerned with the RPG 'lite' for the gear. Far too many games get crazy loot/gear focused that seems to just be a way to pad the shortcomings of all of the other elements. Can't wait for tomorrow!

The gear system is so confusing for me. I will get a legendary piece of gear, upgrade it, put this tune things on i- everything. Then a few hours later I’ll pick up some green glasses that are like +15 over my legendary stats. The only thing that I see that makes legendary gear valuable is the ability to upgrade it and use tier 3 runes
new to the channel. Just want to say that having your youtube channel name in the bottom left in all white convolutes the sound mixer and pause/play features. I would consider moving them! its just white on white and you can't see the buttons
How are the boss fights? Do they feel varied and distinct or are you just fighting the same reskinned enemy again and again? Is the final boss fight unique and satisfying?
After 10 hours I’ll say this to anyone who is thinking of buying it: the world is great, the missions are boring as hell (sorry but running around doing errands or ‘assignments’ is not fun), the story is ok but nothing special, the combat is well designed, but there are very few different types of enemies, pc has a lot of frame rate issues (I have a 3060ti which should be more than enough), despite what was said before launch, you can’t really change how good or evil your character is (just a handful of dialogue options that make you seem like a dick, so if you want to role play as Voldemort it’s not going to happen) and everything about gear mentioned in the video. Overall, I would recommend it to any Harry Potter fan but that’s about it, it’s definitely not the best rpg experience out there. It’s more targeted towards a younger audience, which I don’t like but understand given it’s a Harry Potter game. 7/10 I think is fair, but it’s overhyped like crazy imo.
Just finished the story today, at level 34 which I had no idea to do. It's an amazing game, awesome story, character's, graphics etc. Too much to list! I give this game a 10 out of 10. My console is Xbox one S and had NO issues
One issue I have .. the ending, no matter what ending the game doesn't allow you to pick what type of Wizard you want to be. The game is good but your choices truly don't matter.
I loved it, very addictive gameplay, you can easily get lost in this world for hours. And I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the build, considering how common it is to launch half baked betas with bunch of bugs in the industry. I encountered a few glitched textures here and there, but everything else run as smoothly as it should.
I just know in 12 hours when I start playing the game I’m gonna grind tf outta the main story until the Christmas decorations appear and then I’m exploring and doing as many side missions that my level will allow
@@thomasanderson4210 Well it makes sense considering some side quests will probably be related to the main quests. For the sake of immersion too it would make sense that after a certain point some quests wouldn't be available anymore.
I wish.... Good list.... Least two loadouts so we have school uniform then outside school we can switch between. Quidditch. Easier broom races the controls made it very hard to possible for me. My quest allies if in house we could meet in our common rooms like in the movies/books. More class activities as options. More opportunities to hang with friends in house in our common room. Responding npcs like in Horizon I mean if what we get is what we get I'm sooooo happy just my personal wish list.
Definitely a great time for being a PS5 owner, as long you get the Deluxe Edition you get the game 72 hours early with the other Deluxe Edition bonus, plus the preorder bonuses and if you ordered it digitally you get the liquid luck recipe (only available for PlayStation players), get exclusive quest line and finally a whole year exclusive access in having your own shop before any other players can have access to it.
I’m enjoying this game more than anything else I’ve played in the past couple years! I feel like more could have been done w/ the gear, but damn is it a satisfying game to play, cant wait for more.

Got the platinum trophy within 2 weeks of owning the game. Best trophy grind experience I ever had. Didn't even use a guide except when I was struggling to find a handful missing collectables at the end. Amazing world to explore, had way too much fun just roaming around the castle and discovering all the hidden secrets within. Such a gem this game. And any true Harry Potter fan would be delighted experiencing this for themselves. Of course there were some minor annoyances, but nothing compared to other big games I played to 100% completion. The wait was absolutely worth it. Been following its development ever since that first teaser that was put out years ago. I really hope they do bring out some DLCs and a second game. But please take enough time to make it as good as this one.

I really have enjoyed the game and have alrady made 2 other alts in different houses. My few gripes (no spoilers) are as follows: 1. There is no clear indication on why we start out as a 5th year when most wizards/witches would have clearly shown magical talent at a much younger age so I think they did a poor job explaining this. 2. I would have liked there to have been some clear outcomes of decisions made throughout the story whether good or bad like The Witcher 3 etc. 3. I would have liked there to have been more friends/allies relationship development and more times where an ally could come with you for certain missions so I think that was poorly done as well. 4. The gear customisation I agree (not talking about transmog) I also would have liked that you don't keep getting the same type of gear but higher level until you get the gear/cosmetics you haven't received yet. 5. Finally, the beast breeding I found pretty pointless aside from getting extra mats which you can't even sell which leads to the bottom half of the traits that didn't even unlock until the very end. Still really did overall enjoy the game a lot. Is it at the same level as RDR2/Witcher 3, no but its still a great game.
It was an absolute blast but as with every game.. after almost completing the main story and nearing end game, it lost the magical mysticness it had and it’s a pretty small game :(
I don't want a deep gear system and the classic rpg mechanics. The whole point of being a wizard is that all you need is a wand and magic. I would have HATED constantly chasing stats on my hat... Rather have a very deep combat system that let's us get creative and really enjoy the fantasy instead of min maxing builds...
Definitely especially since we are definitely getting the better deal like exclusive potion recipes (as long you preordered it digitally), a whole year exclusive access to our own shop before other players get their chance to have it & a exclusive quest line, and combine that with the other stuff people can get from the Deluxe Edition and linking our Harry Potter fandom accounts gets a lot of exclusive stuff

Voice acting department definitely needed work. Half the time, the protag sounds like an AI voice where they just typed in the line.

That Haunted Hogsmeade quest was next level. Very immersive, felt like I was in a horror movie lol.
How do you get the quest to trigger. I'm at level 25 and it's still not in my quest list. Am on ps5
@M it happens during winter, so you have to progress until then, and eventually, there will be a quest that shows up in hogsmeade for it

The open world is huge. I like to explore on foot, because it's also full of stuff which you'll just miss when flying everywhere - and the floo point network is tight enough so that on-foot exploration won't become a chore.
It has absolutely has lived up to the hype. 👌 The devs can and should be proud of their work.

YEah the PS5 has some pretty big exclusive stuff. I also heard about some performance issues on PC, not sure but PS5 version sounds like a better option

The quest is exclusive to PS5 for a year so technically you'll be able to play it in a later playthrough. The Felix Felipe potion however is only exclusive to PS5 pre orders.
I'm 42 hours in, lvl 30, and about 50% thru the main story
So many side quests and things to do.
To think, each house has some adventures the others don't.

WB Games and their studios are surprisingly good at times. LOTR Shadows of Mordor and War are in the same vein. Not the publisher that immediately comes to mind to release a fantastic, S Tier open world RPG. This is GOTY right out the gate in 2023, and has set the bar pretty high for any other games coming out this year.
Can’t wait to play tonight! Hoping that exclusive quest is akin to the amazing Control quest with the music.
I haven't even started my first Charms class yet. Didn't even get introduced to the Dueling Club yet. On the 7th I litterally spent all my time walking EVERYWHERE and just exploring the castle and finding hidden things to collect. Today, I'm doing the same thing. I JUST learned the Levitation Charm(Wingardium Leviosa) today. I'm still exploring and people already beat the game?! I understand the reviewers but if you're a fan like me, I turned off my mini-map and most of the hud, and I'm just walking everywhere.
Waited my entire childhood for this game and it came in my mid 20s… but it was worth the wait
I think go all the way and you start by recieving your invitation to hogwarts as a young 1st year student. With minimal danger and as you progress through the years of school the danger and tension rises with the threat of the antagonist very much like Harry's story. Except, the danger starts to manifest as you become more adept with magic it becomes known that you are the only decendant of Merlin that is still alive and the only threat to the antagonist (as long as your magical potential is realized in time as you navigate the story and the open world)
I’m on my second play through and I’m almost done 100%ing the game. I think it’s great. With that said, I think adding a couple features would make it amazing. Like a mass delete/buy items feature, quicker fixed camera, new game +, and there was one or two other small things that I can’t think of right now. Other than that it’s an awesome game. The house chests contain the dopest looking robes, for you new people who haven’t played….focus on that bad boy.
I fully agree about the haunted shop sidequest. The most unique and best quest in the game, but it also really felt like they'd put a lot more effort into that quest than the others. It's almost like the devs made it at the very end after utilising everything they'd learned along the way. Sucks that some people will miss it because of exclusivity.
After Forspoken being the utter disappointment it was, this is the magic game I needed as the best Harry Potter fan.

Hello @JorRaptor, does it feel to you like if you don't want to miss out on some side quests, you have to constantly scan the castle and the map around? (or at least at the start of each new season)
No you can very easily keep track of them via the owl post and the map shows you the icons before you scan the missions

The new shop only gives u a 6% increase in sales from unwanted gear...thats it. Mission is fun tho. Ive got to the point where i dont even need money anymore...need more stuff to buy or make it cost money to upgrade gear...idk
I have been playing on the ps5 with fidelity and ray tracing enabled(motion blur, framerate cap and film grain off) and haven't had any issues or load times opening doors.
The recent update made the game even smoother with around 30 to 60 fps depending on the area.
And i have been playing a lot. received platinum in 66 hours of gametime.
Dude love your content and takes on open world games. You team is my go to for anything open world.

It's worth it for early access alone considering most game would charge nearly £90 I mean if you can wait and arnt bothered about the extras then buy the standard.

If you think you will love this game, then I think it's worth it. The arena is fun (and a great place to get some early levels) and 72 hours early access is nice if you have time to play

This game is so good. The exploration feels a lot like the one in old games: you want to explore and you’re always bound to find something cool or meaningful. Several times I found stuff exploring and then I do a quest that is like “have you checked this out?” And I’m like “OMG I JUST DID THAT”.

@@AmonadaLP there’s really no point. You can still preorder and get bonuses or just buy the game. If it’s not good or you don’t like it then refund. The only way you’ll truly know whether you want to play it is by trying it, no point delaying that time.

My one big complaint is how liner the game is. It makes you feel like you have an option with multiple dialogue choices. But the decisions do not matter up until the very end of the main game. Basically you are driving down a road, there are many different turns along the road however, each turn is blocked until you reach the end. All that being said I really enjoyed the game, I just wish I had more options throughout the playthrough.

People tend to forget the part you own so many mounts, you can fly, roam, and even fight with the graphorn for example, is it just me or is it really appreciated that FINALLY we can have flying mounts in an RPG (even skyrim's flying on a dragon isn't really flying on a dragon lol, same in Tears of the Kingdom) I think I am the only nerd who actually see this as a big plus, even in TW3 Geralt can only ride a horse, in HL, you can literally fly a hipogriff or Thestral shit is a very big point for me

in 1800s it wasn't problem yet, Riddle isn't born for 100 years. Yes Salazar was a slithery snake (pun inteded) but that is way way in the past. Sorry if it isn't consistent with the books, maybe Slitherin was always looked down upon but I just watched movies and read 30h+ on wikis

Books is similar. Slytherins were considered an evil house. That’s ok for the books and movies because the protagonist is from Gryffindor & everything revolves around him. But in the game YOU are the protagonist and you can choose any house, I didn’t want that pre-judged Harry’s world impression to be carried over to this game’s world

A house whose motto might as well be “pure bloods rule the world”. Invented the word Mudblood. This game has great audio! During the intro quest, I was shooting the wand in the cavern......and wow! did they do a phenom of a job making it sound like i was really shooting a wand into different areas of a cavern.

I just finished it today but got only 69%, but did a lot of side quests also. So there's a lot to do left. Imho this game is a 10/10 masterpiece.
The game is really good did not expect it to be this good actually!
My only complaint with the game is that some things like combat/potions/skills seem to be lacking in content. Imagine how crazy the game would be if you could dual hand wands for example. Or how awesome it would be to create more unique potions or even gear in this game. Or even your custom spells or more options over the 7 or so that will actually work. Also the combat has a massive gap in difficulty. Once you have access to the room and have access to the last few spells the game becomes relatively easy combat wise.
It's still a very fun game but needs a little something to be that great teir rpg like a withcher 3 or something. I definitely have enjoyed myself when playing but kinda miss the difficulty of other games. We need another teir lol

Meh, I'm not too concerned with the RPG 'lite' for the gear. Far too many games get crazy loot/gear focused that seems to just be a way to pad the shortcomings of all of the other elements. Can't wait for tomorrow!

The gear system is so confusing for me. I will get a legendary piece of gear, upgrade it, put this tune things on i- everything. Then a few hours later I’ll pick up some green glasses that are like +15 over my legendary stats. The only thing that I see that makes legendary gear valuable is the ability to upgrade it and use tier 3 runes
new to the channel. Just want to say that having your youtube channel name in the bottom left in all white convolutes the sound mixer and pause/play features. I would consider moving them! its just white on white and you can't see the buttons
How are the boss fights? Do they feel varied and distinct or are you just fighting the same reskinned enemy again and again? Is the final boss fight unique and satisfying?

After 10 hours I’ll say this to anyone who is thinking of buying it: the world is great, the missions are boring as hell (sorry but running around doing errands or ‘assignments’ is not fun), the story is ok but nothing special, the combat is well designed, but there are very few different types of enemies, pc has a lot of frame rate issues (I have a 3060ti which should be more than enough), despite what was said before launch, you can’t really change how good or evil your character is (just a handful of dialogue options that make you seem like a dick, so if you want to role play as Voldemort it’s not going to happen) and everything about gear mentioned in the video. Overall, I would recommend it to any Harry Potter fan but that’s about it, it’s definitely not the best rpg experience out there. It’s more targeted towards a younger audience, which I don’t like but understand given it’s a Harry Potter game. 7/10 I think is fair, but it’s overhyped like crazy imo.

Just finished the story today, at level 34 which I had no idea to do. It's an amazing game, awesome story, character's, graphics etc. Too much to list! I give this game a 10 out of 10. My console is Xbox one S and had NO issues

One issue I have .. the ending, no matter what ending the game doesn't allow you to pick what type of Wizard you want to be. The game is good but your choices truly don't matter.
I loved it, very addictive gameplay, you can easily get lost in this world for hours. And I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the build, considering how common it is to launch half baked betas with bunch of bugs in the industry. I encountered a few glitched textures here and there, but everything else run as smoothly as it should.
I just know in 12 hours when I start playing the game I’m gonna grind tf outta the main story until the Christmas decorations appear and then I’m exploring and doing as many side missions that my level will allow

Someone said that you can miss side quests which give spells if you advance too far. I am hoping that’s wrong.

Definitely a great time for being a PS5 owner, as long you get the Deluxe Edition you get the game 72 hours early with the other Deluxe Edition bonus, plus the preorder bonuses and if you ordered it digitally you get the liquid luck recipe (only available for PlayStation players), get exclusive quest line and finally a whole year exclusive access in having your own shop before any other players can have access to it.

This is the first Harry Potter IP I've been interested in.
Yeah it's great it's seems like its good on its own without factoring in IP
Got the platinum trophy within 2 weeks of owning the game. Best trophy grind experience I ever had. Didn't even use a guide except when I was struggling to find a handful missing collectables at the end. Amazing world to explore, had way too much fun just roaming around the castle and discovering all the hidden secrets within. Such a gem this game. And any true Harry Potter fan would be delighted experiencing this for themselves. Of course there were some minor annoyances, but nothing compared to other big games I played to 100% completion. The wait was absolutely worth it. Been following its development ever since that first teaser that was put out years ago. I really hope they do bring out some DLCs and a second game. But please take enough time to make it as good as this one.

honestly that exclusive side quest is the best quest in the whole game literally.
This game is really a dream come true. Its been an amazing experience. I really hope they add more magical beasts to tame though.
I really have enjoyed the game and have alrady made 2 other alts in different houses. My few gripes (no spoilers) are as follows:
1. There is no clear indication on why we start out as a 5th year when most wizards/witches would have clearly shown magical talent at a much younger age so I think they did a poor job explaining this.
2. I would have liked there to have been some clear outcomes of decisions made throughout the story whether good or bad like The Witcher 3 etc.
3. I would have liked there to have been more friends/allies relationship development and more times where an ally could come with you for certain missions so I think that was poorly done as well.
4. The gear customisation I agree (not talking about transmog) I also would have liked that you don't keep getting the same type of gear but higher level until you get the gear/cosmetics you haven't received yet.
5. Finally, the beast breeding I found pretty pointless aside from getting extra mats which you can't even sell which leads to the bottom half of the traits that didn't even unlock until the very end.
Still really did overall enjoy the game a lot. Is it at the same level as RDR2/Witcher 3, no but its still a great game.

I don't want a deep gear system and the classic rpg mechanics. The whole point of being a wizard is that all you need is a wand and magic. I would have HATED constantly chasing stats on my hat... Rather have a very deep combat system that let's us get creative and really enjoy the fantasy instead of min maxing builds...

Definitely especially since we are definitely getting the better deal like exclusive potion recipes (as long you preordered it digitally), a whole year exclusive access to our own shop before other players get their chance to have it & a exclusive quest line, and combine that with the other stuff people can get from the Deluxe Edition and linking our Harry Potter fandom accounts gets a lot of exclusive stuff
