Really digging the way Pogo's sound is evolving. This track has almost an ethereal quality to it without being overly complicated. The use of tonal variances really underscores the maturation of Nick's style. As it breaks into the beat, it briefly comes across as a familiar vintage score from maybe the early 90's without losing its modernity. The composition elicits imaginative visuals, just close your eyes and it easily becomes a near out of body experience.
This is one of the few songs I've listened to that isn't made from sounds of a movie. I hope he makes more like this. Pogo is really excellent and organizing music.
Amazing stuff as always Nick. You always create the most intricate progression of emotions to follow in your works. I’ve felt so much listening to your works. Great track, man.
At normal speed it feels like a slow build up, sightings of the UFO, recordings of the UFO. Interactions with it, then eventually chasing it to see who it what's inside. Only to find other humans At 7.5 speed it feels like your being chased by a monster of some sort, but you aren't controlling your own body, it automatically runs away, after 3 minutes the monster stops, but your body is still on guard, anticipating everything that could be thrown at you, then as your body predicted, the monster comes back, you run and run for 2 minutes straight, but alas, you've been cornered, with nothing else to do you fight back, and when you land the final blow..... Everything slows down, you were just dreaming
I love that I know you are putting all of your talents into these works. The music. The Art. The Videos. It truly feels like a homemade meal feel. Amazing!
I got goosebumps and my eyes started to tear up at 2:26 , something so sentimental about hearing that kick drum and melody come in. Another absolutely beautiful masterpiece ❤️
As someone who has loved all genres of trance (but especially 90’s-early 2000’s) for most of my adult life, but has become extremely bored of the lack of creativity, this has sparked that fire in me again 😍 so so good. I wish this was on Spotify.
When you release a track in a new style like this, it feels like the real-world equivalent of picking up a skill book to level up my imagination stats. Keep searching the skies for those new sounds!
I'm 'out there' but POGO is way more out there than me so it requires effort (on some tracks) to get it...when you do, when the pushing of yourself pays off ...oh boy THE REWARD !!!! this guy is the most underappreciated man, probably, ever.
Love the tune, thank you for making it and sharing it with us. My evening is quite enriched and you inspired this poem: Of Falcons Gatecrashing destiny at the brink of starvation Boundless, they are bonded Flightless, they’ve responded All the glories o’er the pond beneath the great beyond have touched upon the wind that beats its coated tom-tom-tom Breasts heave heaven up in breaths À bout de souffle written on their tongues and chests A spawn of holy feathers in their nests Scanning from these mountain rests O, falcons, smothered, robed in jesses, Guesses hanging from your necks, connections braided for protection With spirits screaming for collection, may hooded clothes of your election cover all your soaring, virile nakedness The hunter’s savagery is only truly blighted by mirrors Their hunger only sharpened by horizons Who knows how far it is to fall when wings of weaponry grant thy one wish To rise And that is why I sing of falcons
Not wisdom, but heavy sorrow Weightless with a grief that comes From leaving where there ought to be believing. The grieving The receding Madness from sadness Through which I pray For breakthrough Into gladness Joy that reaches into the evermore A boy becoming what God made In his soul
Pogo this is a masterpiece. I adore the build ups this has throughout. If I was anyone with some talent I’d make a video to go with this, using films like Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Batteries Not Included, Explorers, Flight of the Navigator… but I’m not anyone of talent.
@@Pogomix ok THAT would be awesome! After listening to this another dozen or so times I get this in my head; (First build up) A guy on his way home to his family in the countryside after a long day, pitch black roads and starry skies, he sees a strange light in the sky. He stops his truck to see what it is, but it vanishes pretty quickly. (When hi-hats kick in) He gets home, excited. He tells his family who don’t believe him. The next day, he’s at work and none of his coworkers believe him. He goes back to the same place, night after night. He’s being ridiculed in the streets and at work but still keeps going back. Then one night.. (8 bars before the beat kicks in) ..he finally sees the same light in the sky. This time it closes in, and as he stands on the roof of his truck, both amazed and terrified, he’s bathed in light, and before he knows it.. (Beat kicks in) ..he’s flying through space. He can’t see any spaceship around him and it’s as if he himself is hurtling around in space. He sees things no human has ever seen with their own eyes and almost cries in wonder. He’s just starting to take it all in.. (Song calms again).. and he finds himself back on the roof of his truck as if he never moved. He sees the lights vanish into the distance. More convinced than ever this was real, he tries to tell newspapers, tv stations, authorities and even convince his family but they all think he’s going crazy. He knows what he saw, what he felt. He’s becoming a shell of the man he was but he can’t stop going back to that place. One night, his wife decided enough is enough and is about to leave him, but he pleads with her to go with him to see if the lights are back. She can’t believe she’s doing it, but agrees. They get to the place and stand on the truck roof.. (8 bars before the beat kicks in).. the lights appear, close in and once again bathes the truck in light. The guy is elated but his wife screams in horror. He reaches up as if to grab the light.. (Beat kicks in) .. they’re off through space again. He’s again in awe, she still can’t believe her eyes. He turns to her as if to say “see? told you so”. (Song calms again). They find themselves back on top of the truck. She instantly slumps in disbelief and awe. She hugs her husbands legs before they get down off the truck and watch the lights vanish once again. Maybe they’ll be back…
I wanna hear a film score written by Pogo
or game OST
once i finish film school and start making movies imma hire him as my official sound director... like tim burton and johnny depp XD
You and me both brother.....
@@suemccashland Unless someone hires him first.
@@SMUS16475 ooh but what if i wait till hes availible tho 🤔🤔
I love how this feels suddenly familiar when the drums kick in, despite it being quite different from what we’re used to hearing out of Pogo.
Yeah ! Love the progression with this track. It sounds like a movie soundtrack.
@@JulesKennedvitch Oooer the word ; progression..so Deodato or Jarre
If you listen carefully it sounds a lot like "Vitalic - Anatoles"
@@JulesKennedvitch it sounds even more like Says by Nils Frahm
I to own pogo as a slave, because our pogo shall make only the finest of music
There's not a single song this man puts out that I hate, I've listened since 2013.
Pogo always amazes me with his skills. 🧡
Exact same here. Been following him ever since.
It definitely sounds like the title

Indubitably. Now turn the volume Up!
Wow, vewy big words
This sounds quite pretentious.

Reminds me of the Tron: Legacy soundtrack, which is particularly on my mind after Daft Punk announced their split.
Me too, I'm sad that they retired
Are they mutually splitting up or just retiring?
just missing, "new news, Pogo announces his retirement from TH-cam"
The good thing is that this will never happen, will it?
@@benrosenberg3489 I'm pretty sure kinda both, one of them was having issues with an injury I believe I may be wrong
I love tron legacy!
This sounds like something straight out of a movie soundtrack.
Need this on Spotify more than anything. Real banger!
So glad! Thank you!
@@Pogomix iTunes my guy! I need this lol
God damn man there's so much soul in this song and I did NOT see it coming. Another inexplicably emotional track, great work.
So glad you feel it! Thanks!
I'd love to see you create an OST for a video game one day. Always enjoy hearing your music. Keep up the good work.
Yes! I couldn't quite figure out where I thought this would fit but you've hit the nail on the head, I can really imagine this being on a game!!
This song makes me feel like I’m falling from a great height and I’m seeing my life flash before my eyes. Beautiful work.
ayy lmaos confirmed 🛸👽
That picture is terrific. It encapsulates all our childlike wonder at the vastness of the universe, and hints at unknown mysteries.
why oh why are your tracks not viewed more ? ....they make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up....i love them
hearing this for the first time. But have listened to many Pogo songs. Wonder why it wasn't recommended before.
My heart skipped a beat seeing a new video uploaded, cant wait to listen to it on repeat for the next week :D
Donk. The more you listen, the more you hear. 💙
Most underrated Pogo's song by far.
Ok, you keep astounding me. From fun and quirky to deep and lush. That's a wide palette of audio you seem to shape easily.

This somehow has both a very late 90's/early 2000's vibe to it and a modern sound. I love it.
its exactly that sound ;)

That's what I'm talking about. Can't wait to listen to this with headphones on. 🎧
Right when life kicks me in the stomach and I’m at my wits end; Nick drops something new to take the edge off.
I love hearing electronic producers use three-division time signatures. Great track. And five bars? Am I hearing that right? That’s awesome.
This is incredible. Really creates an atmosphere.
You always bring out crazy emotions with your music. Guess I'll go and listen to cloudley and cry again.
Out of this world!
This is such an amazing track. It really speaks to the soul. Love the work as always Nick.
That image is a sight to behold, let alone the music. Loving it.
The small sample from redruM was my favorite, I am so glad so hear it again in this track. This song is such a hit !!
Awesome!! I'd still love to see Pogo play live!!

I have listened to this 8 times now and I’m still pressing replay!

Was this inspired by Daft Punk because it's making me feel things
Fantastic, love this new vibe. I could leave this on loop for an hour
AT 2:25 go from big smile to even bigger smile!!
Never clicked on a video so fast!
Gorgeous, thank you.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Nothing like waking up to a new Pogo score.
That is amazing! Already listened to it 10 times on repeat!
I love some of the darker work, it’s just as awesome as the lighter stuff.
I watched that sky the entire video. Good song, Pogo.
What a fabulous piece of music.

If you'd told me Paul Van Dyk or some other composer had put this together, I'd believe you. Good stuff, Pogo!
Absolutely brilliant
Love the tune, thank you for making it and sharing it with us. My evening is quite enriched and you inspired this poem:
Of Falcons
Gatecrashing destiny at the
brink of starvation
Boundless, they are bonded
Flightless, they’ve responded
All the glories o’er the pond
beneath the great beyond
have touched upon the wind
that beats its coated tom-tom-tom
Breasts heave heaven up in breaths
À bout de souffle written on their tongues
and chests
A spawn of holy feathers in their nests
Scanning from these mountain rests
O, falcons, smothered, robed in jesses,
Guesses hanging from your necks,
connections braided for protection
With spirits screaming for collection,
may hooded clothes of your election
cover all your soaring, virile nakedness
The hunter’s savagery is only truly blighted by
mirrors
Their hunger only sharpened by horizons
Who knows how far it is to fall
when wings of weaponry grant thy one wish
To rise
And that is why I sing of falcons
I feel like I can say upfront that its a great song and be right. As always great work Pogo.
oh my goodness Pogo you DONE IT AGAIN!!!! AHH i love this music! I'm liking it.

Sounds like a cool movie soundtrack music, or music to a space themed video game menu screen. I dig it.
Very different, spooky and eerie from Pogo! Love it! Gives you the chills! 😊
I love the direction this music is heading!
Right on man sounds great

"This is such a generic trance mix..." I love it.
zoomers never grew up in the 90s... they dont know the genre... they invented dubstep instead... yuck.
Wow that took me away man. By the end it was helping me release some feeling. Amazing work.
First 2 minutes: oh snap nice ufo👌
2:24 - I'm hunting down this damn UFO until the ends of time and space if I have to
He strikes again with his own wisdom.
Not wisdom, but heavy sorrow
Weightless with a grief that comes
From leaving where there ought to be believing.
The grieving
The receding
Madness from sadness
Through which I pray
For breakthrough
Into gladness
Joy that reaches into the evermore
A boy becoming what God made
In his soul
Amazing job pogo 👍👍👍
