It's done to reduce pressure/stress on the bowler's front foot (especially the toes) - quick bowlers put a serious amount of force through their front foot at delivery when wearing spikes, which is absorbed by the feet.

Mam I Know Why You Make Hole On Your Spikes Because The pressure on the leading foot is such that some fast bowlers cut the front off their shoes to stop their toes from being injured as they are repeatedly pressed against the inside of the shoe.

Shoes are torned from the side of toe to prevent toe injury. Usually toe of the bowler while landing strikes the shoe and gets injured thus they are torned.

we have to cut the shoes from the toes side because when a fast baller do balling their shoes goes a bit forward because of the speed when we cut the toe side the toes come out of it but does not touch the line

First bowler ka ball delivery kartei time delivery leg ka toe par bahat pressure lagti hein...to kabhi kabhi pa ki nail tut jati hein ...isse khud ko bachane ke liye....

you have cut your shoe toe because it helps us while bowling and mainly for fast bowlers when we land of first foot the all body pressure comes on this toe and for better landing we cut this part from ours shoe and i know this because am also a state former player(bowler) and i have done the same!!!

The main thing is keep practicing. You can keep 2 marking cones on the line and length u want to bowl.
