Lovely truck still waiting on bits put savage together few others bites from make it build it wheels and sock oil and engine mount cam piston kit lights go on body engine come yesterday clutch bell and exust spring
If low tank lean was a thing then adjusting the engine to run correctly at low fuel is the way to do it, as you did. Worst case you are a bit rich when the tank is full.
@@HaggardRC I personally never had any issues with tank lean, urban myth i reckon😂 i had many savage's from 21 up to 5.9 with no problems as long as the engine is tuned right..
@@HaggardRC never heard anyone else say they just "don't believe" it when it's very well documented, proven and fixed. Idk, I just keep mine full of fuel and it works for me.
@Hillbillypunk I don’t believe it because it doesn’t happen lol. I’ve covered it a few times in the past, I’ve never had any trouble with them going lean at half a tank 🤷🏻♂️ It’s a thing everyone’s jumped on the band wagon with in my opinion making a problem out of nothing.
@@HaggardRC it's been so long, I don't even remember when or when I heard of the lean thing. I just know I started keeping my tank full and really never thought about it again. Can't say I've even experienced this phenomena that now that I think of it. It's no secret most people don't wtf they're talking about (myself included) but I know you do, which is why I like your videos. I mean, yeah, if everything is working properly, why tf would it go lean half tank when it's pressurized and sucking from the bottom, all the time?.. 🤔 Kinda like when people say, "oh I ran my car low on gas and it sucked up a load of crap from the bottom of the tank." As if the pump wasn't already at the bottom.
@Hillbillypunk The real car thing is true, the pump is at the bottom but there is a small gap, when there’s petrol or diesel in it the crap floats around but when it’s ran really low all the crap is bunched up together and then clogs the little mesh on the pump. And smaller bits make their way to the filter and clog that.
Hi mate I’ve got a few problems with a Car I’ve picked up 2nd hand , I’ve managed to set my idle so it turns over but it’s accelerating on its own and the breaks are not responding, I’ve yet to tune it as it’s really hard to do with it accelerating and unsure of the factory settings as don’t know the engine model
HaG so you've been watching the lean bog channel and figured out how to Tune A ❓❓ why didn't you put a race Tune on it and 350 degrees.it would have ran so much better than yours did 😂😂 jk my Friend 👊👊 when we gonna see some good long video's like you did in the past.no tuning just flat out run what you brung with ya 😂😂 I'ma waiting 👊👊 Nice Ride.got me a Savage X few months back haven't ran it yet tho 🔥🔥 it up 🔥🔥 😂😂
The user may not know what they are doing, so send it back with a high idle to ensure no stalling. Reduces the chance of frustration and them quitting the hobby.
Well it’s long gone now, tick over and all that was set good on 30% which is what I was using… I can’t do anymore than that… I recon they’re pretty competent so time will tell. 👌🏻👍🏻
2 Speed!!! Someone like a year and a half ago was selling on Ebay a brand new, unused Savage Anniversary Edition 3 Speed. And I kick myself daily why didn’t I buy it🤬🙄
Cheers mate, You seem to get all the good weather, must be that positive outlook!

I saw a deer get hit by a big rig doing about 70mph about 10 years ago. I still think about that from time to time. What a mess
Nice watch👌
£4 from the market 👍🏻
@@HaggardRC your video was a nice watch...lol
@rawrc 😁
Savages (of this vintage) ase notorious for running lean when the gas tank is low. Like, under a half, and it'll go "kinda" lean.
As I said, I don’t believe in that.

Try get little pice copper pipe for koyosho make cuppler too small might be 4cm 3cm
The brakes on that savage might work a bit better when he gets a proper battery on the truck to power both servos mate .
Maybe, the rod is fully extended.
New pads ?
