I just love Quarter horses, for me it’s there look and temperament, you don’t have to be an expert to see how outstanding your foals conformation’s are, truely outstanding, as is there temperament’s, anyone looking for a quality Quarter horse should look no further than a J❤️ horse. ❤️🇦🇺👍
Enjoyed!! Beautiful quarterhorses and beautiful ranch! Just finished watching Danielle's vlog with Henson bringing the stallion Night Owl in with his mares. Here to see the babies :) Looking forward to watching more of your ranching videos TY for sharing what you do 👍
I really love that you are god at rotating your animals through the pastures. That takes a lot of work. Your knowledge of grazing and breeding and all the things is well carried out.
Wow this horse is really seem to do good for so young and still green a lot of times it's hard to get them to move forward and he seems to be raining pretty good and moving right out fantastic job wow love that. You have some really nice looking horses I tell you they're beautiful the young ones and the old ones all of them look great and those aren't bad looking bulls either they sure are big thank you so much Terry for taking us along with you and going the extra mile to video know it's a lot of work but we really enjoy it and we appreciate it so much thank you and I hope you have a wonderful day
Wheeewwww!!! I just love it here!!!! I be in heaven watching these videos… thank you so much for sharing, I do have a question but I will inbox you on Facebook!!!
Ever considered putting some burros on those pastures to clear out some of the tumbleweed? They don't compete with the other species much and eat things others won't giving room for more desirable plants. Anyway, stock looks fabulous, as always.
All ypur horses are beautiful. In particular, there are a couple of roans at 5:13 that really caught my eye. Especially the red/strawberry one. I hope to see Hansen starting her. She's gorgeous! I'm pretty sure she trotts by again at 11:53. Absolutely beautiful!
Hi Jerry. Really enjoyed seeing the stock in this video. Do you have any qualms about speaking on how you decide which studs to pair with which mares? If that's part of your "secret sauce", then I understand. Genetics and breeding are fascinating to me. The decisions or thought processes you use to pair them are fascinating to me as well. I'm just curious, so no worries if you don't want to speak on this. Great looking herds. Strong work.
Love your horses. They're all looking good. Why you selling your good looking bulls? Your pastures are looking good. Henson really does a great job with the training
Good morning, thank you. Bulls have to be sold when they are older. We have young ones available. When they get older they don’t stay with the cows. They go lay under the trees. Go figure.
My Monster mare is bred to the perlino stud Kiley got from Strattons. I am wondering if I need to vaccinate her. This is the first mare I've ever owned to have a foal, so I'm unsure. I vaccinated her twice because this horse rescuer moved a bunch of horses into the place where I had her before, she was six years old and got sick enough from the vaccs to not eat for a couple of days, so I am a little scared to vaccs again. Plus she got pigeon disease soon after that. She is moved up really close to my home now.
If Jerry has your phone to text he will send video and pictures of the colt. Just send him a message on his number through text it’s just right above on a message. Or he can message you through facebook
Have a question When did people start eating bull testicles and why what made them know they were eatable I love to eat beef but have never thought of testicles and know that I couldn’t if you don’t want to respond that’s fine but I thought that with you having cattle for so many years you would know
I’m sure that testicles have been eaten for a very very long time. It’s nothing new. I don’t appreciate it either, but some people do. People eat the strangest things. I don’t appreciate crickets either. 😜
Thanks for replying i only eat beef and good catfish which is hard to find and since you don’t eat testicles it make me feel like I haven’t missed out on anything sometimes I feel ignorant because I won’t try anything different but I like to know what it taste’s like before I eat it I can’t eat a McDonalds hamburger because that is not beef
Are you exchanging bulls with another rancher to keep inbreeding down, or are they going to freezer camp because they ... oh, lie in the shade and watch the young ones do the work. Those foals have seen it all! Thunderstorms, crossing running water, mud, trains, cows, coyotes, rabbits. No wonder they are so calm about halters and corrals.
Please invest in getting a microphone for your videos...and not rely on your go pro to record your voice...your videos are very interesting but sorry the sound is way off...I normally scroll on by when the sound is so bad...but I love little foals...and your videos are interesting but I have scrolled past because hardly any volume.....
I don't have any problem hearing their videos and I'm 68 with tinnitus. In fact, I usually turn them down. If you're listening on your phone or tablet, naturally you're not going to get good quality audio. Try investing in an external speaker. I use a little JBL and everything is crystal clear.
OMG be still my heart! 😎 absolutely gorgeous!❤
Yes indeed
its always nice to look at good horses and you have a few, thanks for sharing
It is great thanks 😊

@@jheartquarterhorsesaz thank you.
Hoof trimming must be a major operation.. they all look great
You betcha
Man I honestly cannot wait for the day to be able to buy one of your horses. I would love to have a roan, buckskin or palomino.

Can you do a video showing which 2/3 year olds you have and if they’re available? Kind of like you do with the foals. Thank you you Sir.
Only one 2 yr old available gelding 10,000. No 3 yr olds

Those are questions I ask everyday. It’s tough to get horses close enough to catch something from another horse. I don’t know any secret.
If I wasn’t older than dirt I’d have a Night Owl foal
He is a beautiful guy
Same here, but I would love one out of Monster!
you should put a mammoth jack out with some mares, i would be a buyer if you made some mules lol!
😄
Hi Jerry … just a nosy question…what is the structure outside the round pen. Loved this episode as usual.
Just an old barn.
Yess Yess

Are you going back to more Beefmaster bulls, and/or just selling off older bulls to introduce new blood?
I go back and forth. Beefmaster cattle sure are beautiful cattle.
No is a good looking horse
