Got a quick question.. I'm considering buying an audi a5 2011 premium plus, and everything looks great on it, but it's at 91,000 miles. Do you think I should be worried about having to replace the turbochargers in it soon? thanks man. Might be a dumb question but would some kind of warranty cover the cost of that?
I would imagine a 100,000 mile warranty would cover that but I’m not positive, you should be more concerned about the timing chain. They typically need to be replaced around 80-100k on these cars. You can get away with not doing it but it would be in your best interest to replace it proactively, other then that though they are generally extremely reliable cars
You single handedly convinced me to buy an S5... thank you for the vids... My one question would be - Would I be able to do the majority of what you did to the S5 cabriolet? And, what would you NOT do to a cabriolet?
I have a 2014 Audi S5 Convertible. I bought it with 25,000 miles in Nov 2022. Which was in amazing condition and still is, I’m the second owner. Since then, and currently A/C has stop working along with with a EPC light on display anytime with in the last 7 Months when accelerating quick from zero to 60??? It will automatically go into Limp mode lower cylinders to protect the engine. When you shut the car off and turn it back on it resets the EPC light, which means it will run back on all 6 cylinders. Also a blow speaker in the front passenger side door. the car has only 33,000 miles since owning it.
Audis do often have the info screen controlled by the buttons on the right hand side (the same knob to use wind screen wipers). The buttons in the very end should show the fuel range and other info, at least in older models.
one thing i dont like is that there isn’t a way to change the song on the steering wheel lol also the placement of the volume knob is very awkward when you got another man in the car 😂😂 looks like you’re racing for their leg lmaoo
7:05 you see the button at the end of your wiper stick that controls the lower part of the screen (trip, gas mileage, etc) click it to cycle thru the options 🤓
Touch the button on the lever that controls your wipers. To change screen back to fuel mileage

Bro to have fuel range back on your display you have to click button on the side of wipers control you'll see two button's on the end of the liver

And if you want your parking brake to automatically turn off everytime with the gear in you have to always wear the seat belt so you're safe to go👍

I found out what hell was like years ago when I lowered my 2002 Audi myself. They should change the name of hell to pinch bolt.
