Indeed it is! The trend begins right here in the Barbershop world. I will make this comment elsewhere, but have been wondering the last several years if BS is becoming more of a dance contest than a "harmony" society based in MUSIC and precision IN THE MUSIC!Notice, while the drama is going on, the music is not lost in "dance", nor is the sound distorted due to huffing and puffing "dancers" while attempting to sing.Bring it back, gentlemen, just like this. OR, even consider "destroying" your listening audience with musical precision unlike anything they've ever heard before!
Imagine what the "Men Of Independence" were thinking waiting in the wings behind this show?

I take it there's no time limit on chorus sets?
There are no time limits on chorus or quartet performances. For choruses, there is a point deduction if there is too much time taken between when they are allowed to take the stage and when they indicate they are ready to sing (anything more than 6 minutes for groups with fewer than 50 performers, 7min for 50-100 performers, 8min for groups with more than 100 performers). Also, there is a deduction if the group does something to the stage that requires more than 1 minute of time to cleanup afterwards.
Neither of those situations happened here.
