I have a theory that even when a video is completely good, there is still a small group of people who just go around to every video and dislike it.

I hope the professor doesn't take full credit of the student' invention. That's what usually happen in National University of Singapore, hence the relatively large percentage of homicide or suicide in the university.

This idea is very good for the future, but if it is really successful, oil companies will rage!

99% of the gas we use is wasted hauling around thousands of pounds of excess metal. This is bad for everybody except the oil industry. Transportation vehicles need not weight 2,000lbs. Our vehicle designs are unsustainable and won't be possible in the near future.

LimmingKenny It’s also profitable for the advertising, construction, insurance, and automobile companies, and most of all the financial sector, not to mention the war business. These are the private capital interests that determine US public policy. When you add it all up, it’s the biggest ripoff in human history, costing not just money and unrecoverable resources but huge numbers of human lives, entire ecosystems in fact. And we just fork over their asking price like complete chumps, because the PR machine has most of us convinced that we need and want it this way, and that we chose this system in some kind of democratic or free market process. As you say, it’s all falling apart, and we’ll be stuck with a built environment that’s sprawling and inefficient and made of shit. And that’ll be our problem, not the investors’ who got rich off this scam.

Amen. It is possible to make an internal combustion engine car made from commonly available components that are available everywhere for little money. Oh yes, anyone can work on them and they are not controlled by a host of electrical components that fail regularly. I am not a rich man and you would have to be one to get something like this into the market because everyone would be against you.
