I originally planned on replacing all the JIS bolts with hex but found sourcing the odd length longer case bolts too time consuming so I just went OEM.
Nice video! Nice old motor I have a 1984 RM 250 I am about to re-restore, I did it about 15 years ago Now she needs a whole new suspension and everything though. Can you point me in a particular directiion for shocks ? Thank you for taking the time
Hey man I can’t get the crank cover off my 86 inch took all the screws out along with the kick start off and the water hose is there something i’m missing
Suzuki used Phillips head bolts to secure the side cover on, I'd chuck em for some cr top hat bolts.

Did you remove the water pump impeller? If you have I’d just tap the tabs on the cover with a rubber mallet and work it off little by little.
