This is a track I'm still playing regularly and have since the day it dropped. Shame more people don't listen to it. People write off covers way too quickly. definitely one of the best tracks the band has released in years
I can't get into them. It's a combination of Dan's voice and lyrics. I'm not a big pop punk guy. I saw them in NJ on the AP tour with Mayday Parade and As It Is. I like As It Is as fpop punk goes. I just did not like seeing Real Friends. I could not understand anything they were singing.
Both of the covers they did sound so amazing as the original but holy fuck they sound so different and like they fit their sound. I didn't know I needed this in my life until now.
+Danny Martinez They actually went into the studio with that very intention, but due to legal issues with the other songs, it wouldn't be able to come out until September. Since the album artwork is based off of Real Friends and This Wild Life's previous album artwork, they felt that it wouldn't match the themes of the new album they are releasing in Summer
