Edit #2: You can use the updated Icyveins Samurai guide opener/rotation page to see the exact opener I use and 2min burst window shown there. They use the same stuff I do, although they do their 1minute / Odd Burst a little differently than me, probably due to lower Skillspeed, just like Balance did: www.icy-veins.com/ffxiv/samur...

Hey guys, I updated the description with a link to the Icyveins Samurai rotation/opener guide. They're a great website resource for learning how to play multiple jobs! You can see the exact opener and 2minute burst phase / reopener that I use on their page too, even though the links to the Balance Discord images that I referenced broke. Btw, the Icyveins guide uses a little different 1minute / Odd Burst than I show, probably because they have lower Skillspeed than I currently play with.
By the way, I heard in recent patch notes that Samurai's monster slow GCD from Tendo Midare Setsugekka will be changed and reduced in an upcoming patch, so this video may become outdated then. I will update you all with a new video when that happens, if anything changes, which I think it will.

The new Shoha animation looks so fucking good.
One thing I’ve noticed is the long GCD on the Tendies makes it so you don’t need a filler combo which has been kinda nice when at this kinda 910ish skill speed. I know they plan to fix the GCD but I kinda like not having a filler combo

Also, how do you feel about the Tendo GCD? I'm still not used to it, it feels super weird 👀 They are gonna lower it next patch but I wonder why they did this.

Head: Marid Hood of Striking
Body/Gloves/Boots: Deltascape Striking Savage Set (Can do normal, but not dyeable. Savages can be solo'd/duo'd now though)
Legs: Gaskins of the Rising Dragon
