I feel sad that even though I am investing, I don't have the brain power to dig through how each company is doing, is this a good time to buy stocks or not. my reserve of $450k is still laying waste to inflation and I don't know what to do at this point.. I need solid data on market trajectory..

ARK line tickers follows ARKK ARKF ARKG ARKQ. There are a couple more but this is their stream line. I suggest going to their website and checking it out. I have a chunk in my retirement with them and is out performing the market. I did some trades with it and missed some rallies lol just dollar cost avg. when in doubt
All those stocks in there are terribly overvalued. Just buy a Faang etf and trust your money into some monopolies instead of overvalued growth stocks like Tesla and Square

The fact that Cathie Wood only charges .75% a year to manage your money is amazing. The majority of hedge fund managers won't beat the S&P 500 - in any given year - and they charge 2% a year + 20% profits. She returns 500% in five years and charges peanuts. Incredible.

But when people have proven themselves as an intelligent and critical thinker, their opinion should hold more weight than someone who is louder or likes to talk more. For example, I understand and believe in 4 of ARK's 5 pillars, but I don't understand Genomics. I don't believe in it or disbelieve in it, but I know that there's more I need to learn.
You discovered them because they bet on a Fed rate cut and QE...This is when their major holding started to rally! Go back before and their fund underperformed the market. Nobody saw the pandemic, nobody saw the China trade war, but the bet was the fed would cut rates and introduce QE as early as 2018 when there were in automatic pilot for QT...

How the hell does she know so much about so many industries? Not just general knowledge, but really intricate details. Very impressed
she is a polymath with an IQ of 220 and reads every day like buffett so naturally, she is a step ahead.
She also surrounds herself with brilliant people and appears to not have a big ego.
Great to have that enormous IQ. I have half the IQ and I knew in 2006 there was a housing bubble. to create a financial crisi ..now we do know these funds can NEVER go to 100 percent cash.... their fiduciary responsibilities prevent them. Just like the IRS laws prevent them from owning more than 10 percent in crypto. however that being said..... after 2007 these funds KNOW now that the FED and debt monetization will always have their backs. The days of moral hazard concerns in that respect are over. But this trough they drink from isn’t unlimited... She could find the next 10 Teslas or crypto however if the monetary policy foundation it relies upon is now faulty.... that is where it crumbles. I agree, as an investor ride it out and swing trade these markets. It’s what the FED and congress has decided where to take the dollar and the economy.

Thanks for the best interview I've seen with Cathie. You asked questions I've been waiting to hear. Cathie's right when she says the most promise is in genomics, ARKG. Why? Because nobody needs a Tesla, nobody needs a bitcoin, nobody needs the latest iPhone. What does everyone want? TIME, long healthy life to age 100 and beyond. Only genomics holds that promise. People will pay ANYTHING for long, healthy life. They'll give up their Teslas, their hottest phones, their bitcoin, and everything else they own in exchange for living healthfully to 100.

We listen to every TH-cam Cathy does. She is always quick witted and entertaining. We have made each of her ARK funds part of our portfolio, and through the pandemic they performed very well. We were already into Tesla for several years and she added to our future confidence. She makes sense as she interprets macro events in the light of her thesis of the deflationary impact of disruptive technologies.

I am up 37% on my long term account and 470% on my short trades in the last 6 months. Much do to Cathie. Also I made huge plays on LCA NIO SBE and some nice swing trades along the way with Tesla. My biggest hitters from Cathie have been NNDM EVOGENE and SQ also Tesla if including my swings with them. She is an amazing being.

Admirable qualities for sure, but this level of confidence in investing is dangerous. Her confidence is priced into many of her holdings. Doesn't take much to derail that and rerate

I don’t believe her when she says her ETF’s will go up by 20% only. They will be close to 100% every year for the next few years. She doesn’t wanna seem cocky to say it.

there's still a lot of speculation and no one knows yet, even warren buffets predictions have been wrong and he buys and sells consistently. But I think her ETFs will have some good consistency in the long run
Before this past year, I back tested/projected for the past 10 years and it averaged about 20-25% returns annually.

@@bananenboy1 I'm in US so I don't know what's available to you, but ARKG has been buying plenty of Swiss company Roche (RHHBY) recently. Good undervalued low-risk play in my opinion.

@@goto8438 You might not know anyone, yet it is still very much the case generally speaking. There is a LOT of history to this, things are improving but we are not there yet. Pursue power is right. There still is need to accentuate women in this unfortunately.
