I was just browsing TH-cam last week for my daily devotion while listening to Mavericky City’s music and I felt the urge to listen Todd’s cover of The Anthem. This song was recommended and let me tell you, as a young convert who is coming from a place of being agnostic and struggle with suicidal thoughts and depression, this song was ALLLLLLL I needed to continue. I was literally in a place where I was praying for death every day and if you asked me why I couldn’t give you a good reason, other than I just feel empty and incomplete. This morning I woke at 3am and I felt the need to listen this song and I immediately burst into tears while singing aloud. The thought that a few years ago I prayed for everything I have now and while it is that I am not yet where I want to be, I have heard, seen and felt the goodness of God. God is so amazing. Sometimes we can’t see him working nor do we understand why, but one thing is for certain, he will never leave nor forsake us. I just want to thank you Todd for this song. It was the reminder I needed to continue!

Who is he, he’s all I’m not & all I need. He’s worthy of my moment, regardless of me. He’s worthy of my “best” yes. God would you receive my yes? and do as you please, just as you do receive the cry’s, shouts, & praise for your Glory all across the world.
God who you are is indeed “non-negotiable.” Have your way in every way you desire. Let your spirit flow out & your outpouring prevail across the world to all those who are willing.
It’s all about you, your love rocks worlds yet again. Jesus breaks the cycle. We worship from Jesus’ name, in boldness we command ourselves to submit to the authority of Jesus in the midst of the evil weapons waging destruction upon our souls. Father, you are the same forevermore. Father, I’ll run to you over & over again. I may lose sight of you, but I’ll recommit to you all of my days, because you are all I am not. Have your way.
